I've been a musician a long time and I don't give high praises like this often. I here them on radio io a lot and I think she has a voice as pure as Emmylou Harris. This Group is very talented
I love this song when I first heard it ,it was Steve Millers version of it and thought cool I just listened to her version of it and it is also very good in a total different style , just gos to show that a good song is a good song and can be done many different ways and styles and it's still a good song ! Thank you and enjoy it !
What a talent Aoife is ! Such a fantastic voice and her songwriting and compositional skills are exceptional , fossils and magic hour are brilliant as is her work with I'm with Her
when i first listened to this, i thought, please no, dont spoil such a good song. then i heard your sweet voice and listened more. ive now listened to this over a dozen times and love it, and have checked all your other videos out. great band, fantastic singer...
Very cool, I can't imagine anyone not liking this, they probably just got impatient with the beginning, but I guess they've never heard of sometimes the best things come towards the end. This had me right from the start though. Loved everything about it. Totally original and good music!!!! Mark
Rushad was the man. He gave the band personality and drove them. The new lineup is cool, but I will always remember liking the band because of Rashad and his unique personality. He has so much style.
Damn I wish I'd seen this vid earlier. Best cover I've heard in a really long time. I think I might have seen Robert Johnson's ghost stage left noddin his head
They are dozen of versions of this song by great artists, but none, in my opinion ( my ears, heart and guts) reach the emotion of the original by Robert Johnson, like they do. We have to give attention to the lyrics.
Rushad Eggleston just makes this version for me. I think Aoife sings it better here than she did after he left Crooked Still. No offence to Tristan, who is a great cellist, but Rushad was irreplaceable.
He really shredded it on that cello solo (first time i've ever had cause to say that lol), thats prob what Duane Allman would have sounded like if he picked one up!
