Thats just the spills of racing. Two ways to learn : Make mistakes Correct mistakes the next time. What a opportunity this young racer has .... to be a part of the history of dirt track racing!! God Bless on and off the track!!
Mama bear you and that Jason are awesome y’all are a team and the dad he will have that Young man driving like a All-Star just like him father-son team
My crew chief cussed and yelled when I made a mistake and it always put me in a state where I always worried about making more mistakes. He finally realized his cussing and yelling was doing no good. We sat down and had a long discussion about it and my driving. We finally got to him teaching me calmly how to drive his kart and me not getting mad and listening to him and turned that into 1 national and 3 state championships. The mood we put each other in showed on the track. This young kid will be great with a humble teacher.Looks like he already has a great ride and family.Stick with it.
I just found this channel am not a race car driver but like racing I have family that races in West Virginia that's where I'm from and I was just going through RU-vid and I come across this channel and I'm going to watch this video to see how good y'all do and y'all's race and I'm going to go back and watch some more of y'all's videos later on
Thank you!!!! We appreciate you following along on our racing journey. Be sure and subscribe to the channel, we have some new videos coming out. Thanks for watching and commenting!!!!
Good practice session! He will learn from his mistakes. Great to see the family racing together- how real racing is done! Well done family !! Good luck next time out!
The car looks AWESOME! Even though you didn't race you still learned something and that is what it's all about and having fun. Best of luck next time. I will be watching.
WhenI race I always hear it doesn't matter how yor kart looks as long as it runs good but I never seen a kart that looks cheap win. It shows how much a driver takes care of their kart by the way it looks. That car looks great.
Give um hell in two weeks bud you’ll be fine. First time out nerves getting to close to the car in front of you it happens. I know you just want to go , but try to pay attention to your dad it will make a much quicker learning curve he knows what he’s talking about. I want the first Bryson T-shirt that comes off the press after your mom , dad and family get theirs. You all take care and stay safe. Looking forward to next video.
Thank you!!!! The learning process is great for him, it’s going to be interesting watching Bryson grow and learn. Should make for some great videos for everyone.
@@redclayoval hope to see yall make it back down to cochranmotor speedway this year hope yall get ready in time an go get em I stick with yall brother looking forward to hopefully meeting yall this year until then keep on digging brother
New to your channel. I would have to say nerves had a lot to do with not following his father’s advice. All in all I think the desire to go fast is there but needs more seat time and guidance. Great job for first night out , if i had one piece of advice for him be patient it will happen sooner than you think dont rush it! He should be proud of himself! 👊🏁🇺🇸
He’d gonna be alright. Rookies will make mistakes and teenagers don’t listen sometimes lol, trust me, been there done that. Main thing he’s gotta get in his head is, keep the fenders on it every week, it’s easier to get better that way instead of having to make repairs weekly.
Thank you Will, this is Jason and I’m pretty sure Bryson had a blast and the butterflies was present all night. Maybe Bryson will reply on how it felt to him. Thanks for watching and commenting!!!
The advice was not to get right behind another car during hot laps/qualifying, leave a big space so other cars would not effect his lap times. Thanks for always watching and commenting!!!
This class is not a beginner class a latemodel with a 602 not beginner class more for your next class after pure stocks to get use to dirt and the rules and driver etiquette mistakes are more welcomed in pure stocks but he did good listen to your dad he knows what he is talking about I been racing since I was 10 started in a 602 crate late class on asphalt was my first racecar but I had seatime in my Ms super stock at track we use to own. I'm 30 now so your dad has alot of knowledge listen and learn and you will be fine donexactly what your told to do trust me that goes a long ways as a new driver. Still to this day I do exactly what my spotter tells me to do because he can see more then j can on the track. Never think you know it all or get cocky if you do you will never learn or get better as a driver and ppl will stop helping you. The nerves never go away I still puke 45 minutes before I climb in my asphalt 410 sprint car or dirt ump modified and I been racing for 20 years exactly age 10-30 and on dirt listen to the race director and be very villigant to what he tells you he can save your car from being tore up sometimes and tells you all info you need to know during cautions where to line up
Great comment and advice, I guess your right about not really being a beginner class. Most racers don’t begin in a 602 late model, Bryson is a good listener and will do fine with more seat time. Thanks for watching and commenting. Good luck with your racing!!!!!
Next time he needs to back off the car in front of him during hot laps/qualifing so he can get a good lap without having to stop because of the car in front of me. Other than that did one hell of a job for his first race
That’s what he was told before getting on the track, Bryson knew he did wrong soon as the green flag dropped. Lesson learned!!!! Thanks for watching and commenting.
I was wondering if you guys want a digital cinematographer and editor to help out with the channel. I am in college for digital cinematography. I will volunteer my time
Thank you so much for the offer, we already have someone handling the editing. It means a lot to us for someone to offer up their services for our channel. Thanks again!!!
This is by far the worst video I’ve ever seen! The car looks horrible and very slow! Just kidding! Just subscribed! Car looks great and I enjoy the videos! 🤪
