She’s not a traditionalist. Besides in the Victorian era stones other than diamonds were used for engagement. But I’m betting they found a house and that’s why she has to run back for a few days.

Same here even though it was much longer ago I lost my mom I still miss her. Sorry about your mom and your loss. I have an adult daughter over 1,000 miles away in another state and when watching think always about how pleasant it would be to enjoy days with her like they share. I know one-day in the future we will. But until then we do a lot of vicarious living through their blessed relationship!😘🤗
Me and my husband don't drink coffee, we just buy it for guests.. But even then I hardly offer coffee ill rather say " will you have Tea, softdrink or water?".. The smell gives me headaches

I was surprised that you didn't add any insulation to your house when you had it stripped down to bare walls. I live in a cold climate where we would freeze to death if the walls and roof weren't insulated. If it gets as cold in Texas as it has been recently, it would make sense to insulate your houses there too. Also, we all have basements which also helps keep a house warm and gives us a place to put our central heating furnace and air conditioner as well as a safe spot in case of a tornado. Why don't Texans have basements, I wonder.
The creamy white things you didn’t know what they were are old ceramic electrical insulators! Currently redoing a house built in 1907 and had to remove soo many!! Very neat
If you install landscape up-lights to your trees, you won't need to wrap them in lights in the winter if you don't want to. Plus, they'll bring pretty lighting to your landscape year round!

I loved the Reindeer sleigh so much. Looks gorgeous in the hallway. If I'm honest I miss the renovation videos BUT I can see how tired you are,(not in a bad way)it's just clear how all this hard work has taken a toll on you and you need a break so I'm thankful you're prioritizing You over videos! It's amazing all that you have achieved in a year and how beautiful it all is turning out.

There is a little light tester you can get and find the bulb that is out. They’re about $20 at target. It saved me the time from restringing my lights. You can do it! Safe travels to LA! I got my son a Taco 🌮 ornament like the ones in that shop a few years ago, for Christmas. That brought back some happy memories of my last Christmas with my mom, she was in a physical rehab center last Christmas, and couldn't have visitors, and passed this past June, so I took me back to a happier time!!!
