Hey Lettie, depending on which day of the month you arrive you will probably need anything from R5000 to R8000, also depending on which city you are in cos most places are expensive than others. If you will want to start exploring immediately and going out for dinners with colleagues/sightseeing then I would say R10000 would be good

When your verify your degree via SAQA you send them a copy of the certificate and the documents that go to DIRCO are all copies of the original, the only document that will be original will be your police clearance certificate

Hi there, usually the recruitment company gives you a template of how the letters should look and also as long as you did all your subjects in English then you can ask the principal or deputy to write the letter for you, sign and stamp then that’s it

I think you’ll be able to get through with the application process however if you don’t have a South African passport then there might be issues with the immigration office

They’ll take you if you apply to teach at a private academy, not so sure if you apply for the public school program cos they want to see that you did all your subjects in English
