@@wilkolb7239 Yea , I know . But.. the one I was referring to, I waited 1 1/2 years for him, due to a planned breeding. He was 100% German, ancestors patrolled the Berlin wall. Pretty wild. Anyways, I planned on doing protection sports with him but , he quickly grew into so not a sport dog. He was very serious. We saved some people, one a cop, from getting the snot kicked out of him. What a dog and what a pal. I agree with you that , the next one will be a rescue tho.

Have you thought about getting another dog? Not to replace Lelila but for protection. Worries me that you are alone. Can’t help it! I’m a grandmother! My granddaughter is a little younger than you and I would be so worried if she was alone. Your van is turning out so nice! And to be able to say you did it yourself is such an accomplishment. Yes I definitely think about it! I’m not ready yet but I can agree that it does feel safer when I have a dog with me. But.. right now I’m taking my time. When it feels right I’m sure I’ll start looking or at least be open to having one come into my life. Thank you! 💛💛💛I will stay safe.

Judging by how their acting, it's probably just a good spot for training for them. But typically they would set up a dump tank (which is very common for rural depts that only have tankers and no hydrant system) to provide water to a fire engine fighting a fire or to refill brush trucks out fighting wild land fires. Having a dump tank allows the tankers to bring their 1500-3000 gallons of water, dump it in the tank, and leave to get more water.

Looks like Fire department is doing training on Water Tanker use. In areas with no water main, they pump water from a lake, river or a water main too far away for hoses to reach the fire truck and dump it into a portable tank so the fire engine can use it for putting out a fire, and they go get more water to refill before the pool runs dry.

Not sure if someone's already commented, but it looks the fire crews were setting up a portable water tank for drafting. Those get used a lot during wildfire season and for water shuttling. And as a firefighter, as kong as it's not during and actual emergency, we love talking to the public about what we're doing. Always come say hello and ask questions.

Juliana I myself just lost my little baby girl she was the best thing in my life. But I morned few weeks and then decided she wasn't coming back. So I adopted my new pup Billy best thing I ever did. I know my little dog wouldn't want me to be sad after she was gone. So don't beat yourself up to long and get you another pup to give all the love you need to share and you and Layla will smile again. Layla defiantly doesn't want you to be sad anymore. 🙏❤️love ya kiddo and your videos. 🐶❤️

I have had a camper some years now and my dividing curtain is 6 inches from the floor as it allows for air circulation better. Really sorry to hear about your dog 🐶 It’s hard had my German shepherd 10 years and she got cancer had it removed and came back about one year later and she had surgery again to remove it but was bad brought her home and she passed away in my arms sure miss her a lot .

Juliana, when I lost my last dog I rescued another after three months. It saved her as well as rescued me from the loss that I felt. Unfortunately I lost her after 6.5 years. Losing two in 6.5 years has been ruff. But do consider getting another one. Esp. When going into secluded places alone. May I suggest a German Sheperd.
