Ah wow, the waterfall looked lovely! The Christmas market was very reminiscent of the Weihnachtsmarkt am Alexanderplatz I encountered the first time I visited Berlin. The lotus roots and such looked yummy. Thanks for sharing! Also: dinosaurs. ;)
I went to Japan before going to Germany and there's definitely a lot of similarities! I was definitely surprised to some Japanese gardens and tori gates here in Germany too! Afaik Germany was the one to help Japan modernize the most/gave the most. America/UK did too but it seemed like they were less interested in Japan catching up quickly.

Kii-Katsuura is a great small town! The best tuna I ever ate 😋 I stayed in Nachi-Katsuura when I was doing my kumano kodo pilgrimage :) You definitely need to go to Eddy's Bar if you have the time and chance. Eddy is a great guy and makes great cocktails! He had a bar in Tokyo Ginza and decided that he wants to move out of Tokyo to a smaller town - and this is how Eddy's bar came to existence :)) Really worth the visit!! Thank you Emma for the making and sharing the video! I wish you all the best and I am looking forward to your next video! 😊

thank you so much as usual for making and sharing your content! these vlogs are a delight and I'm selfishly happy they're continuing into 2022 lol. I used to travel a lot for work and sometimes it would be for a couple weeks, then back home briefly, and then a couple weeks again... on one hand the experiences were AMAZING but on the other hand my brain and energy would just go into potato mode after a while so I understand that appreciation for having really cool beautiful experiences but also just wanting to faceplant in your own bed feeling. I hope you get (or had) a couple days in a row to just putter around with no big activities. Happy almost new yeeeeear!
