We can definitely tell you're from Indiana and not near the beach. LOL. The first shell you showed was a nautilus. Next was actually the conch. The thing you thought looked like a tick was a crab. I live in the Midwest now, but as an army brat, we moved around and lived on the East Coast for quite awhile. 😂
I found a glass cup with wood lid and blue straw and a dark blue irradecent cup lid and straw today. They were with the shore living stuff. I couldn't find the other colored ones.

I think they are shuffling Family Dollar merch to DT stores to accommodate closing 970 FD stores. DT bought out FD in 2013 and it wasn't the best idea in hind sight. They are not necessarily raising prices to $7, rather introducing $7 Family Dollar items to DT. The DT plus items for $3-$5 dollars are mostly found at FD for the same prices.
