I'm glad you had a fun gang of friends to enjoy your travels with... and that you managed to successfully get out of the way of the typhoon! The sculptures at the Hakone art venue looked amazing, and yes please do share some more of your craft adventures? You are braver than me to tackle that kind of heat and humidity, though, whoof... Would so love to see the landscapes & crafts of Japan, but guaranteed, I'd pass out in the first 10 minutes!! 🥵😵‍💫

Seeing your visit makes me nostalgic, in a sense, from when I went back in April this year. I wish to return one day to really enjoy the scenery without as many people (those being others from my school) as I endured the last time. Great video!

Hokkaido was so incredibly hot and humid when I visited in August (not this calendar year). I'm from Texas and I thought it was incredibly hot. Looks like you had fun! 🎉

I really enjoyed watching this as it brought back some cool memories from my trip to Japan earlier this year. But try to never go there between May and October, it's just too dang hot! Terrible climate... We were there late April - early May and it was pretty sweaty already. If I would visit Japan again, I would go during the Winter months.

I am told that Tokyo-area Japan summers are pretty similar to the summers in the American south so as someone whose main con each year is Otakon (Washington DC, late July or early August, heat index over 100 with 70%+ humidity and a dewpoint over 70 degrees every day), my sympathies lol

Glad you mostly had a good time in Japan. The summer heat there is no joke with the humidity that's so high you could practically swim 🏊‍♀️ through the air. If such a thing were possible.

Trop cool! Les anglais qui gagne après les français, humm coïncidence lol. L'humiditer ça a du etre chiant mais tout ce que vous avait pu voir et faire vos bien un peu, beaucoup d'humidité mdr. Clood and Lettie are friends of friends of mine (same generation, same scene, just I never got a chance to actually hang out with them! 🥲) so I was enormously proud of them winning WCS! The UK winning for the first time was incredibly special and there could not be two more deserving people to bring that honour home, they are incredible cosplayers! I was probably affected by the same typhoon but when it was coming to South Korea when I was there with the world scout jamboree. 40k people were evacuated from a dryed bottom of an ocean were the camp was including me to northern parts like Seoul. The camp flooded with water and I can say that I wouldn’t want to stay in any aspect.🥲

@@HazarielAtelier I just search up the name now. It’s not the same, our were called “Khanun”. I did fine. The actual camp was pretty bad prepared. The activities were where for the most of in due to the heat. When I got home to Sweden I kind of wanted to go back, I liked the vibe of Korea.🫨
