Ryan Searle should have easily closed that out. A lot of head shaking. Power of Positive Thinking - don’t beat yourself up. Once you’ve beat yourself up, it’s game over.

Amazing comebacks today. This is why we love the darts. Never know whose gonna win till u hear 'Game shot and the match'. Also so happy for Soots, i wish he has a deep run at the tournament.

Alan Soutar's comeback was something from another world. Those high finishes when Noppert was waiting to pounce and try to revert the comeback were incredible.

De Sousa is one lucky man… Whitlock in Round 2 throwing it away, and now Searle in Round 3 throwing it away. He won’t have that luxury against Price so he better be on his game from the start in Round 4.

Jose De Sousa what a guy. I was looking on Sky Sports and he was 3-1 down I thought wow what a upset. But what a turnaround, pure experience in not letting your head slip, turned momentum, didn’t give up and proceeds on. Great effort JDS!

Searle was lucky to go up 3 to 0. He just didn’t look comfortable from the start. But Jose has had two big comebacks. You can’t keep doing that it gets very tiring and hard. Soutar took his time warming up but once he settled it was game over. His level just kept getting better Can’t wait for the world cup. Should be Peter wright and Alan Soutar. Gary played as well as to be expected. For as many dart matches as he has played this year he didn’t do that bad. Peter wright was a bigger let down this year. But again his prep wasn’t there to many things going on with his wife. Chris played really well took his chances and his timing was good. Well done

Madness... I honestly cannot believe that, at 2 points during the game, Ryan Searle needed just 1 leg to win the match, and...he actually bottled it... I won't lie, tho', it's one of the best comebacks that I've ever seen...

Wow Searle. Utter capitulation 😔 Before that I noticed a massive difference in dart collecting speed with De Souza when he misses darts at a double vs normal. Bit of gamesmanship there for sure

I and some mates know a Scot in England been playing who is better than Soots and rest in Scotland at both Poetry and darts the guys very good but only plays for fun ..We have told him he should take it much more seriously he just smiles and sais he is the best and knows it but its only a game he sais and not a Sport continued below . His name i only shall give as Stevie and the guys top notch and only other thing he is different from soots is unlike Sotts guy Stevie is a Celtic supporter again they are the Champions 10 years from eleven ..Stevie wins again ..

I love Ryan serle one of my favorite players but constantly lacks the killer edge in the big games!

Very disappointed in Searle, just, bottled it up when things mattered most.

Don’t think Ryan will ever be consistent throwing those heavy darts, so many times he is a mile of the target and has to adjust.
