yes this guy is a true legend. Im 60s n grew up with his jokes n patter. Im a Rangers fan hes Celtic. Means nothing with guys like this. I will be at his funeral when it comes. Glasgow will sorely miss him.
@@danielclark1614 My daughter just arrived to work in England and is loving it but even the teachers at her school never realised that us Scots have our own language. It’s all shortbread and tartan! We are much more than that. I will start with the fact we are just a small country but the amount of inventors that are Scottish is in the hundreds. That’s only the start! Don’t get me started on the intellectuals or the authors. We love our friends in the north but no it’s time for us to stand alone.
Jfc jealousy is one vile emotion. That medal isn't for the monarchy, its not for the royal family and institution, its for his family...for his daughters who absolutely adore him and are proud of him. Its for the millions of ppl hes made laugh. Only one miserable c*nt would expect a man in his 80s with Parkinsons disease to turn down such an awesome moment. It has absolutely nothing to do with the royals, its just an amazingly talented, hilarious, hard working, humble man being honored for everything hes achieved and everything he has given back. The man has donated over half his income to charity. Hes always been a silent donor aka a donor who did it to help not to get praise, attention and publicity. We will probably never hear about the vast majority of what hes done for charity because he did it selflessly without wanting credit.. hes an amazing human and we should all be happy for him and his family. As a daughter myself i can assure you that medal means more to his daughters than it will ever mean to him. Not because they want to be the daughter of a "sir" but because they want their Da to receive what he so rightfully deserves and they feel immense pride to be his. Ffs my dad won a fishing tournament once and that little cheap ass trophy has meant the absolute world to me. He gave it to me the day he got it and when he passed it brought me so much comfort. Its the first thing id grab and take with me during an emergency lol
