You're not guaranteed to break even or profit if you're a businessman. There's always a risk when running your own business. The hope is to have revenues substantially exceed expenses overall. Sometimes you take a loss but make good on payment to your vendors even if its at a loss because it upholds your reputation and credibility. Reputation and credibility has value as well because good word of mouth can assist in generating new business down the line.
The Plaintiff’s will to keep going and be active is inspiring. Having an illness or disability in the middle of your life is very difficult and depressing. People will not treat you same and it’s hard to regain your confidence.
My dad has a amputated leg & is in a wheelchair too but does everything on his own just like the plaintiff. Happy he doesn’t let the wheelchair stop him from whatever he wants to do. ..Us New Yorkers Are Built Strong 💪🏾❤️ 🗽

He was a lazy promoter. I agree & disagree w/ JM. While it is the promoter's job to organizw the business & market the event...wr see all the time, talent do press runs & promotional tours. (Which likely they get paid for or have as a condition of the terms of the contract). We see it in boxing all the time....promoters want the fighters to train and market themselves. ..
Talent is often required by contractual agreement to promote a project. We see it all the time in Hollyweird. In fact that's what the controversy with comedian Mo'Nique was based on.

We do chair aerobics at DSCC gym in Ohio. Been doing it for over 5yrs. And they been offering classes longer than 5 yrs. So it is not isolated to New York.
sad how the "promoter" tried to take advantage of the disable guy...he thought he would have a quick come up.....he noticed how popular the disabled guy was and was going to use him to make a quick buck on a comedy show...and it backfired....can't stand opportunistic users
