The first time I attempted the lead while playing this backing track, I about started crying because I felt the emotion coming out of me and it gave me another 70% confidence in my playing. This is great. Thanks a lot.
What an incredible backing track. First time I've ever played the two solos with no guitar on the track - and it was bloody amazing. Whoever made this did a brilliant job.
61 years old - play guitar and believe it or not I never learned this solo (s). Honestly, when younger and a full on metal head I didn't appreciate this kind of music. Older and hopefully wiser now. I have my kids whom are musicians listening to ALL the old styles and genres. Love this stuff!
No it's not. The organ is too loud and is playing the incorrect chord inversions, it doesn't have brass/trumpets playing at the end, and it's missing the china crash cymbals. The one I made on my channel is much better and more accurate to the original. I'm trying to get more people to use it so please check it out.
@@IntrepidFC lmao sorry. I think it’s more annoying (to me) to go on social media and hear great solo covers over the same terrible backing tracks over and over. So I hope you understand why I’m trying to promote mine lol
This was one of my favorite tunes to play back in my cover band days. Damn I was good. Not so much now but I just remembered how much fun it was. Thanks!
I have been using this backing track from start to finish on my entire Comfortably Numb learning process, which of course took me a while to complete (and I still suck at the down scales). Nice thing about it is it has a happy ending where I was able to improvise my own conclusive ending, instead of the usual fade on the original. This is as close as it gets, and I would use no other on my practice sessions.
Thank you so much! I live on an island and the net was up, looking to hear this song and saw "...Backing Track"?! Never knew, whole new world here with the only guitar for 35 miles
Playing this on its own is one thing but playing this with the instrumental is just amazing. Sometimes it's hard to believe the sound is coming from my guitar 😂
this is the best quality backing track I've found for the pulse edition so far but it is a little bit shorter than the live pulse performance! would be great if it was full length! But thanks heaps for putting this up regardless!
Hello? Hello? Hello? Is there anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me Is there anyone at home? Come on now I hear you're feeling down Well I can ease your pain Get you on your feet again Relax I'll need some information first Just the basic facts Can you show me where it hurts? There is no pain you are receding A distant ship smoke on the horizon You are only coming through in waves Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying When I was a child I had a fever My hands felt just like two balloons Now I've got that feeling once again I can't explain you would not understand This is not how I am I have become comfortably numb Okay Just a little pinprick There'll be no more, ah But you may feel a little sick Can you stand up? I do believe it's working, good That'll keep you going through the show Come on it's time to go There is no pain you are receding A distant ship, smoke on the horizon You are only coming through in waves Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse Out of the corner of my eye I turned to look but it was gone I cannot put my finger on it now The child is grown The dream is gone I have become comfortably numb
One part I find extremely fun to play with, on this track and with my band is the Chorus... when it goes back and fourth between A and G. "There is no pain... " I play the lead part (I believe its Synth aswell) but I switch to single pickup, and bring my top way down.. and it really blends nice with two other guitars playing the chords.

Super backing track great tone may have left positive comment before but if I didn't you deserve good comments so well done and look forward to more backing tracks
Great Backing track, this is supposed to give you a taste of what it's like playing one of the most beautiful solos ever created, supposed to give you a taste of what it's like to be David Gilmour, and maybe this is not intended but instead I'm left here feeling like Ron Jeremy.
