I buy them from Rick at immaculate comics (he has an online store). I personally don’t remove ink. I sometimes remove grease pencil, but not as much as I used to.

I'm new to all this. So you're saying using peroxide makes the book deteriorate after time?

I’m saying I have no idea. I really don’t. Peroxide is used in the manufacturing of paper, so from a practical standpoint, perhaps not. I don’t know what it does to ink, because I’m not a scientist. I do know this, I am not going to do what I consider restoration to a comic, because I personally don’t want restored comics. From my perspective, I’m keeping it simple. Stains and foxing will have to stay on my books.

I’m sure it gets old hearing this from me but I love all your videos. However, I think this is the best one I’ve ever seen you do. I loved watching it. I now realize pressers and cleaners should charge more. If I had to guess I would say it took you 500 - 1,000 hours to learn everything you showed us in this video. Thanks as always!
