Batman is One of my favorite characters. His rogues gallery is what makes the world so great. So much depth in all the characters. My Neil Adams cover collection of Batman 200s are masterpieces! 🔥🔥🔥

Bill Batman comics there even tell you what old issues numbers check out for like it said the Riddler. That was cool.

The reason the census data is so low on the Batman 171 is because there aren't a ton of high grade copies out there. This book was given out as a give away at cinemas when the adam west batman movie was released apparently. 🙂

Those Batman books are two I don’t have but would like to have. I do have an X-Men 4 I actually bought for 2 cents from a friend back in 1965. It is around a 4 to 5.0 I’d say.

Very hard to find a good presenting copy of Batman #171. That pink cover doesn’t help with that, but love it. Will be picking up a copy myself.

Some really cool books, no question. Your use of Luke Cage's Sweet Christmas (a personal favorite of mine!) makes me consider other comic exclamations and whether I should use them or not: Great Rao! (Silver Age Superman) Holy Moley (Captain Marvel/Shazam), Great Caesar's Ghost! (Perry White), Merciful Miverva! (Wonder Woman), By the Hoary Hosts of Hoggoth! (Dr. Strange). :)

Smart pass on the Batman. Detached anything kills the grade, but as long as the price matches I guess that's fine. White pages almost always cost you above fmv, but never hurts to try. Re: UXM 266, probably great time to get this book. This is holding more steady than the other covid run ups. I would hold out for good price on that one, probably find some deals and that's always active book. Re: 1st Riddler - I would look at the graph and try and buy the peak or to right of top of census. X-Men 4, yeah you need to pick one of those up while the dip is here. This will go way up again once X-Men movies start dropping in 5 years.

I am wary about nice copies of Batman 181 with a detached centerfold.. as you know many copies are missing the centerfold since it was cool, It was in the the middle of the book and easily removed. I have noticed many collectors comment their issue has a loose centerfold. I wonder if that is the original page or it is from another book that someone used to make their high grade complete. Something to think about.. you may have made a good decision passing on that earlier one and been disappointed had you submitted it. Just my thoughts no evidence either way.
