Waiting for the incoming gatekeepers 😳😳 Personally, as a PS player, think it's cool that we could have P3Re and have it handheld like P3P but that's just me.
Id agree with this if it wasnt for the fact that SMT games have been stuck on nintendo for 2 decades now, if switch is getting persona games, atleast release smt games as multiplatforms aswell.
Tourists come and claim to know a series, but they have never played the games and want them to change so they can enjoy them. One of the reasons to gatekeep is cause people like that will never be happy with the games, and yet companies keep changing it for them. We also get bad localization now. The funny thing is general audience never asks for games to be localized differently. So having the translation match the Japanese as closely as possible is not bad. Yet we get folks that say no, you can't do that, etc. There are a lot of good reasons to gatekeep, especially now.
@@doniarts As much as I get that reasoning, I don't think they're gatekeeping for that reason. I've seen tons of people just gatekeep purely from the idea of telling people to "go pick up a PS5" as if it's just that easy. Who cares if it comes out on Switch? That's just what people just have sometimes and I don't see the issue. I totally get what you're saying though. The original P3, P3FES and then P3P were my absolute favourites of the series and I wouldn't want much changed if I could help it (especially if people are just demanding that P3 becomes a reskin of P5), but I'm personally just not sold on the idea that a game coming out on Switch should be a no-no.
Please let this be real. I'm working. As much as I have PS4/PS5, I have no time to sit all day at home. At least switch is something I can bring anywhere, play during my lunch break and all. T__T
i don't know if i'd consider the switch capable of running the game, considering the fact it's using unreal engine, even with toned down graphics honestly, those listings feel like quickly generated things meant to build up hype
SMT 5 runs on unreal and it’s a switch exclusive. Granted it doesn’t run perfectly all the time, but as far as I know that was also Atlus’s first bout with unreal. Plenty of other games on the switch work in unreal too, main one to come to mind is Dragon Quest 11 (I think it’s 11).
