Marvel and DCs lack of marketing their books never cease to amaze me. Two massive companies that just do not comprehend how to use social media lol. Hire a Social Media manager or something, man.
Not going to talk about manga because there's a lot of those getting canceled too so instead let's talk about video games, the marketing teams behind Sega especially around frontiers need a raise, marvel just hasn't been the same since The watcher (this weekly recap show on RU-vid they used to have for all things marvel ) ended they talked about everything and it was so helpful for secret wars 2015, all those books would have been way harder to keep track of if they didn't have a show to help you do that, I know there's a whole lawsuit on why it stopped but I can't marvel do that again, or even DC
For that to work they'd need to cut the number of books they produce in half and give everyone a fresh starting point and market it properly at the same time imo.
Hello! Just wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for mentioning Global Comics. I had no idea it exsisted. With comixologys downfall and money being tight I'm in desperate need for a indie digital serivce. Their prices aren’t bad and they have some books im dying to read(Reckless, Ultramega, Public Domain, A righteous thrist for vengeance and more) I have Marvel unlimited and DCU so this is a great find.
When they went through the Marvel Unlimited website and kept saying "can’t read it on your computer", I kept picturing that scene from Into the Spiderverse where Peter would hype up Miles and kept saying "he can’t do it on command."
Not that anyone will see this. But Superman game should be aliens robots and meta gang.... hell throw a couple of magic based villains and even some sort of mutants in just for fun. Have the setting take place in a region of dc America that way you can go from metropolis to our nations capital like gotham and then even if through a loading screen you can go to Smallville and area 52 in the dessert or something
I'm so blown away by how badly they are not talking about this app, or even more why the app is this bad do they want to push digital comics or not, heck when I first used it thanks to a Xbox deal , I found out there was a new 2099 comic by accident and no one was talking about

49:13 i think what you're describing sounds more like a Homelander sort of thing for The Boys. I've seen a few times there've been some mods for GTA where you can play as Homelander and go crazy on people. But nothing official.
Insomniac could easily build a Venom game franchise out of SM2; have the first game be Eddie/Harry, then make the possible sequel an Agent Venom game, with Anti-Venom as a playable character, or do all of it in one game that's the same length as the Spider-Man game.

My comicbook store is located downtown Montreal and I asked him today what comics are on top and he was saying from walk in and usual pick ups are Wolverine vs Predator and JL Godzilla. Seems only if it has a movie crossover they tend to be better sellers. Maybe crossover can save comics?
I think it could but the only problem is marvel and DC can be very stingy it's why they won't cross over with each other because they have to share , keep in mind marvel already did a crossover with attack on Titan it's just very short , I still dream of a Ninja turtles with Daredevil or power rangers and spider-man
people overthink the peace maker season 2 thing, it doesn’t have to be the same universe. I don’t need Tobey McGuire in no way home to literally be the guy that was in the Sam raimi movies, cuz there’s like infinite universes
I will say I used the Marvel unlimited app for maybe 18 months because I lived in the middle of Nowhere, Kentucky and it was great to just read every guardians book since 08 or Jason Aaron Thor but you can’t stay up to date in any way so outside of Hyper-fixations it’s probably best to just find something else
Whaaaaa?! You make a Superman game like Superman Returns or DC universe online but more polished. You give the city or whatever Superman has to protect a health bar You let Clark (Lois and Jimmy) have levels where you go after a story. Like in the first PS4 spider-man game you got to do science stuff with Peter we need to do Daily Planet stuff with Clark Like he researches the villain so he can beat them or something so we get a glimpse of how important his secret identity is. Lois and Jimmy can have side plots that you can choose to get involved in Lois was always always attracting strange aliens that wanted to date/marry her and build a plot around whatever that's about Ala Superman's girlfriend Lois Lane (I watch a LOT of Causal comics) and Jimmy can have 4th world adventures
Benny is trashing the app while using the website. The app works fine and when i turned it on it immediately showed a link for an infinity comic and the 'new' issues they have are only 3 months behind current issues, not 6 like they used to be. It's not a perfect app but, for a channel trying to educate new and old comic readers, this video did the Marvel Universe app a disservice.
Marvel Unlimited on desktop is horrible. It doesn't hold a candle to DC Universe Infinite which actually functions properly. MU is three months behind.
@@Popcultureguy3000 their catalogue is one month behind, but you have to pay the highest tier to get it. I've used it quite a bit to read books I wouldn't.
Watching you guys roast Marvel Unlimited hurt my heart. I love the MU and have used it almost everyday since it came out. I would not be able to afford comics any other way. The Web UI sucks so bad no getting around that. The App is only usable on the phone and tablet. It can be a little clunky sometimes, but well worth the content IMO. The "NEW" comics are released Mondays. They are 3 months behind print release.
The Red Hood book was taken over by Shawn Martinbrough for the last two issues... And he's coming back to pen a mini. How you landed on Scott Lobdell (who was rumored to be taken off the book for sexual harassment) is bizarre. Yall couldnt even bother to properly mention Martinbrough in the end. What were you googling for then? 🤦🏿♂️
I don't want to defend a lazy website. But I will say, a lot of your issues with the site are not problems on the app. They expect you to use a phone or tablet. All the infinite comics are front and center, they probably don't promote them on the site cause you cNt read them. That all being said, they should put more effort into the website
Marvel Unlimited is so bad. The state of digital comics across the board is terrible. Amazon seems like they want to kill it off entirely.. keep pushing it further from a good experience for the comic reader for finding, purchasing, and reading comics- you know, the three main things it SHOULD BE DOING.
