Today we venture back to Commander Legends Battle for Baldur's Gate with a Collector box opening!
We've long known that Baldur's Gate contained good some good and valuable cards. But Baldur's Gate is becoming more than a one trick pony. The land cycle is aging as we knew it would and there has been a steady increase in value of many other Rares within the set.

Fair point. In the moment I actually forgot how tough some of those backgrounds are to pull. Super glad it was the council and not the dragon. What’s weird is the token was fine too. Just that one card.

Baldur’s Gate is definitely starting to be a set people take notice of. A lot of singles moving upward in this set.

Yeah, I completely forgot how tough the Mythic backgrounds are and that passionate was a big hit. Sleeved it immediately after though! 😬

Nice box! Storm King's Thunder is one of my pet cards! I play Mizzix of the Izmagnus and I love playing Mana Geyser -> Storm King's Thunder -> Crackle with Power

I really like that card. I haven’t gotten around to a spell slinger deck yet but if/when I do, that card is going in.

Yeah seeing a damage card always bums me out but thankfully the Dragon was unscathed. What’s weird is the token was fine too. Someone got hungry and tried to take a bite out of that card.

Gotta love a Dragon Hunt! Oh wait, does PoA have the trademark on Dragon Hunt? 😜 What nice box! So glad to see BG getting some love now that we've all gotten past 'worst set boxes ever' and 'bonkers starting price' that once was the only talk. (Of which I fully participated in). Some actually nice duplication here! Love to see it! Hope Reise found some stuff they were looking for! Also, I can verify, Wildcat has been on that Monster Manual train since day one!

I use Displacer Kitten as a blink effect to cheat out big Dragons in combination with Sneak Attack

Isn’t it the Background from Exit to Exile? I just picked up another copy of it because Costco had the Baldur’s Gate decks cheap over the holidays and I needed it for Delayed Blast Fireball and Jeska’s Will for my Fourteenth Doctor deck

Yeah the curling is an issue in this set but if you sleeve quickly you can prevent it or use a humidifier to remove the curl after.

Appreciate the feedback! I still put pricing in for boxes I open for myself and will continue to do so. This month was just a weird mesh of me opening boxes for other people and the few boxes I opened for myself being on a new product (Ravnica Remastered) that I wanted to see prices settle on before I started including pricing.
