At the 38 minute mark, Justin used his commander to deal 3 damage to the 5/5 Wayfarer Temple that was being buffed up by Wes' commander.

munda cant put allies to the bottom? it says reveal any number of ally cards, I may reveal none cant I?

Wes amazingly and unknowingly playing around the random deflecting palm was such a great moment. Let's go Team Wes!

This the only reason I subscribe to Startcity games. I just want to watch Commander Versus more and more.

Definitely loved it! I'm a big fan of EDHREC, I use it all the time. Jeremy: I'd love to see you play Riku of Two Reflections, and slap as many clone cards in there as possible! Parnell: I'd love to see you play either Chainer, and reanimate ALL the things. Stephen: Go back to something you've played before, and go to Feldon! All the graveyard interactions!

You aren't required to put all the allies from Munda on top of your library. Munda says "any number" not "all". Additionally if you were required to put all of them on top, Munda would be worded as "Reveal" not "Look at" because otherwise you would need a judge standing behind you in tournaments to verify you were resolving your Munda correctly, and Wizards doesn't want that.

So does anyone else find it funny that stephen got ambushed by spiders XD

Here is an idea for a theme. It combines a couple of previous ones. Do a two-headed giant where one player uses a planeswalker (allowing for you to use ones that normally can't be your commander) and the other uses the corresponding legendary creature. Ex. Xenegos, the Reveler and Xenegos, God of Revels.

you guys should do a commander vs with the Praetors, id love to see a Jin-Gitaxias deck with something like Alhammarret's Archive wrecking havoc through massive card draw

I subscribed after Jeremy explained in this video that I'd only get about 3 videos in my subscription feed a week. I've since had over a dozen. Not sure if you just messed up your settings, there was miscommunication, or if that was a bare-faced lie, but I'm not exactly thrilled about that.

Suggestions for decks for final episode: Justin: Justin's been doing very well recently. He should play someone that's hard to play, but in his colors, such as Iname As One. Stephen: We need to see Mono-red win at least once and who better to do it? I'd say either Urabrask or Feldon of the Third Path. Wes: I think it's finally time we let Wes play Teferi. Besides, what could go wrong? #wisemoves Jeremy: Thraximundar. He would like it. We like it. Just...Thraximundar.

You do not need to reveal off of Munda for two reasons: it says reveal any number, which means that you can reveal zero and because it is "look" you can always fail to find.

So my friend has a mono red walls deck using kazuul, tyrant of cliffs. it's actually really fun to play with and against. I would love it one of you played that during the final video of the season. I am pretty sure the deck list is on tapped out, but I dont know the name of the deck. Of course Green has to play this because it's mono red! ;P Hope you guys choose this! :D

Munda states any number in its word text, meaning that you don't have to reveal any if you don't want to. It's the same with targeting up to a certain number of creatures, you don't have to target/reveal if you don't want to.

The good, the bad, and the random was the first thing to pop into my head

Wes Wise with the DB play of the game at 32:35 with the delayed may trigger from Aura Shards. Justin set the precedent a turn earlier by acknowledging he didn't get his missed taureen mauler triggers and I didn't see Wes steppin up to let him keep the counters. If you're gonna call late may triggers you ought to enforce and allow others to keep theirs' as well especially when you're using one of the strongest EDH enchantments in the game.

42 Trample with the possibility of 44 trample and 6 regular damage. The best blocks were crypt ghast on nylea and demons on avenger/wolf/loxodon. This provides a total of 16 damage block and total damage of 34 killing him. Therefore the best blocks were probably 2x demon on avenger to take it out or 2x demon blocks on loxodon heirarch.

So I was just playing some commander Cube, and realized this is right up your alley Parnell, you guys should do one for Commander Vs!

Munda says "reveal ANY NUMBER of Ally cards." Steven doesn't need to reveal all Allies. He could just reveal one or two and put the others on the bottom of his library.

All these guys are fun to watch, but if I had to play Commander against one of them, it would be Jeremy because he always keeps his cool no matter what.

Each player should pick another player at random and make an edh deck for them that fits there play style or just what they hate.

This is a lot more of a friendly game than the Commander cry baby players at my FNM place.

I love watching these guys play but would love to see them bring in some more pals and get a massive game just once. at my local store 2 weeks ago we got a 10 player game going and honestly it took forever but it was well worth it.

I like the EDHrec plan for random episodes, the only thing I would suggest is rerolling commanders that have already been played on Vs just so we get to see some new stuff!

People, stop worrying about misplays and mistakes. Yes, they could have played better but this is about having fun!

What happened around 39:17? The avenger+aura shards only hits enchantments and artifacts so why did koth and relentless dead die?

Idea for one week. Instead of 1st - 4 points; 2nd - 3 points; 3rd - 2 points; 4 1 point. Do 1st - 1 point; 2nd - 2 points; 3rd - 3 points; 4th - 4 points. Might be interesting to see how each person plays when they're trying to come last

I'd really like to see a game with Sharuum, Glissa, Jor Kadeen and Kurkesh. Boy, I sure do love artifacts.

Did you also use the "generate average deck" function on EDHRec to make the deck lists or did you guys build them?

You look with Munda and even if there is 4 Allies you can say, "Oops, didnt find any allies. Guess they all go to the bottom." It does not prompt you to reveal all the cards, just the allies you choose to keep on top.

So anyone notice that Parnell actively misled Green? Interrupting his reading of Munda to tell him had read the card previously and that he had to put all the allies on top? Seems to be....

You should randomly assign 3 or 4 event decks. Each player gets 5 or so edits in addition to the cards in those decks plus a commander that fits the colors.

Sure this has been mentioned, but wayfaring temple was a 5/5 due to getting +2+2 from Tolsimer so it shouldn't have died.

I really like Gary Walts (Capital G) comment below about doing all mono red decks. They continually state that mono red has never won a video, but the time is nigh! I understand concerns of play being boring and having alot of repeat cards, but you can accomplish mixed archetypes pretty easily.

Coliseum of Random is always my favorite! Glad that Wes was able to recover from his Wisemove of taking the boots off Tolsimir. GO WES!

Holy.... So None of them realize that Wayfaring Temple gets the buff from Tolsimir. But then, just MINUTES later, they make sure to note those same buffs on the Voja token. Come on, guys, get it together.

"Reveal any number" is the may variation of look. The other option is "reveal all"

I really liked this incarnation of randomness much more than previous seasons where it felt like half the time someone ended up with a deck that was unplayable and just not especially interesting to watch. Even with the monored deck it seemed like no one was left just sitting out.

Wes' use of Arachnogenesis there was amazing. A lot of players will reveal their fogs; that was great. Definitely a #wisemove. But I'm still #lustinforJustin

Some time ago my brother said he wanted a Lord of The Ring Themed Mtg EDH Deck where everyone should use a theme from a LoTR tribes. I know that we don't have so many cards and our friends have even less so we have problems to build after such a theme (except Dragons maybe) but I think it could be a nice theme for you. Kithkin as Hobbits (Gaddock Teeg or Brigid, Hero of Kinsbaile) Giants (Brion Stoutarm, Ruhan of the Fomori or Kalemne, Disciple of Iroas) Treefolk as Ents (Verdeloth the Ancient, Doran, the Siege Tower, Sapling of Colfenor or Nemata, Grove Guardian) Eagles as Birds (Kangee, Aerie Keeper, Derevi, Empyrial Tactician, Lieutenant Kirtar etc.) Zurgo as Orc Lieutenant (Using Orcs, Elephants and Goblin) Demons as Balrogs Spirits, Shades and Zombies as The Dead. Dragons (just the red ones) as Dragons Spiders as the big Creature which attacked Frodo Etc. And pretty hard to use: Dwarfs (Balthor the red because we have nearly no black dwarfs and Balthor the black has no red color identity and the red use Barbarian tribal) Main Point no creature in the Deck shall have another creature type than listed on the Middle Earth wiki.
