I just checked out the emails, what kind of fin comb did you use?

Can't use a fan comb because some of the fins are not only turned on top of each other but bent around each other. So when you go to use the comb it actually starts ripping the fin putting a tear in it. So I use a screwdriver. Once you pick up the technique it can go fairly quickly. But sometimes you have spots where you have to slow down because you have to pull the fins that are wrapped around each other apart from each other. Sometimes you have a fin running to the right and a fin running to the left at the same time. Those parts take longer. I've done quite a few air conditioning coils this way at this plant. Also done quite a few steam coil fins.

Here I know it's getting late, and the old man's going to go night night pretty soon. But I did forget to say that a 90° pick, like out of the pick set you can get at harbor freight. That comes in real handy. Also I don't know what they're called, but those plastic tools that you use to smooth out duct tape the aluminum duct tape, those can help sometimes too they kind of wear down. Really the screwdriver is the main thing, then second would be the pic in conjunction with the screwdriver. I'm not sure if I do but if I can find a video of me doing it I'll send it to you on your email.
