CumminsWorks hi was wondering if I could take a minute of your time and pick your mind I have a 96 12v auto 2500 2wd extended cab with 177k miles and in the past very days I’ve noticed that when I have to brake quickly at higher speeds the whole truck starts to shake very badly like concerningly bad the steering wheel seems fine and doesn’t shake it feels like it’s coming from the back of the truck haven’t replaced the drum brakes in the back in a long time but I just had the front rotors replaced a month ago they’re not warped they are very good, as I read on forums this is about all I can find but I don’t think it’s that I’ve replaced almost everything under the front end within the last 6k miles and it’s not death wobble I’ve had that with my 07 and especially because the 96 is not a solid front axle I felt like my lugs were loose but I checked them and they’re all good any ideas? Truck is all stock besides some 22inch wheels a hx40 (since the hx35 blew on me a few months ago) and a homemade intake, I haven’t changed anything on it in a while and all the sudden it started from no where on happens when I brake about half way or more at 40+ mph any thoughts would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Thanks for the info! There are definitely plenty of places for air to leak in. One of these days I hope to make a video showing the entire fuel system and common failure points, I'll be sure to mention this spot.

Same here. Banjo bolt ontop of fuel filter housing rear return line. Fucked me up for weeks. Costed .30 cents at Cummins for the sealing washer.

I took that off and installed rubber fuel line

Try cranking it at the starter by laying a screw driver across the terminals if it cranks your starter is good and you have power to the starter.

What year is it? Some dodge Cummins don't have a fuel pump in the tank.
