Awesome job my 95 Dodge wouldn’t start found your video and click lever up starts like a charm . Now since I have to click the lever every time, I’m thinking maybe relay to it is bad , what do you think ?
My grid heater was acting up and cycling on and off when it was cool outside even though the "wait to start" light didn't stay on. I replaced the relay. It still isn't working right. Could the heater itself cause it sticking on and cycling when it shouldn't?
Bro thank you sooooo much!! I bought a truck that was parked for 10years they replaced everything and couldn’t get it running. I replaced the relay and nothing. Now after watching your video I took it all apart slightly lubed it up and put it back together. The solenoid wouldn’t hold up so I adjusted it like you said and made it a bit longer. BAM TRUCK IS ON AND RUNNING 🙏🏼
I know this is an older video hope you can reply. So the fss looks new but it doesn’t work. Did this trick and it activated. Replaced the relay but still nothing. Side note Iv noticed that if I leave the trucks ignition switch on the fss gets hot not too sure what’s going on. If you have any idea please let me know thank you.
I get a 5 v reading while unplugged. The error code is stating high voltage on this ciruit and high (5v) for the coolant temp sensor circuit. I also get a gauge warning when I stop quickly or hit a bump. Do you think these are related through chafing in the firewall?
Bro I know it was for demonstration purposes. But that was 100% dumb. If you run a Cummins out of diesel like that. Those p pumps are cooled by diesel. Just like the vp44 on the 24 valves. Running them out of diesel causes ware and tare ont the pump itself. So when you do that. Especially if more than once your just begging for a failure down the road with those 12v melt downs are a problem. But hey you do you brotha. Just some advise.
Imagine dealing with this vacuum issue without a schematic and an angry spouse who likes heat and air in the truck? Your spot on with the answers I needed on the vac. System, and the repair. Thanks
I’d never thought about air checking the front clutch like that. Awesome job. Guess I’ll go pull my pump back off this 46re and try it. Fully rebuilt by me and no reverse
Hi, the actuator for my wastegate is not holding pressure. The wastegate flapper is shut closed. But the actuator rod does move and open the wastegate when I applied pressure to the actuator. The flapper has no play and sits tight. Can a stucked CLOSED wastegate flapper cause P0299 code. I am getting a P0299 with closed wastegate flapper. Is this possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
