Okay, I'm confused. If my foot numbness is diabetic in nature, why would I seek a foot specialist and not an internal medicine specialist to deal with the root cause and not just deal with the symptoms?

He can’t help but think that a lot of people don’t bring it up to their doctor cause they’re like how are my eyes and my feet connected which we know to be crazy because it’s very true and extremely common with diabetic explanation now to mention that bring it up to the doctor and have that taken into consideration

Mine is everywhere. I went to two neurologists and one internist. The internist checks blood test and confined no diabetes and normal Vitamin D. And recommend me to the neurologist in the same hospital. He ordered and MRI for lumbar check up and confirmed no herniated disk and guessed it might be peripheral neuropathy. He prescribe me Gabapentin, Vitamin B supplements and Melexicam. I took it but no change. I have went to another neurologists when I see a new symptom a chronic headache with tingling on my scalp. He ordered Brain MRI but the result shows everything is normal. Please I need your help. My symptoms are: Head tingling on the scalp Severe knee joint pain on both sides Pain on my hip both sides Tingling and numbness on my hand, palm, and finger tip Tingling and numbness on my calf, leg, foot and toe

I have pretty much the same issue. Wasted a bunch of money on Neurogyst here at Shands UF in Gainesville Fl. no diabetes , Lumbar MRI didn't show anything, Gabapentin does not help etc.etc. In the end I just decided to suffer with this as I've been through the whole deal with rheumatology, neurology, all kinds of tests for Lupus, Lyme disease, Rehumatoid Arthritis and a bunch of others to no avail. The last thing was they referred me to the UF pain clinic, I called and didn't even get to talk to anyone before the recorded message warns you that they do not prescribe any medicines for pain , just homeopathic alternatives. So I decided to say to my self fuc this shit, I guess I have to live with it. And here I am , can hardly wak , can't stand for more than 15 minutes at a time and life is getting pretty miserable.

@@marckradolfer6007 hi dear...I am sorry you are suffering. I know what it means living with a pain everyday. I am now seeing there are illnesses that we can only manage. Healthy diet helps. I believe we fight it and heal it someday.

I bought massagers for my legs and feet that I wear 15 minutes every day I have found it very helpful for I think they’re kind of a pain in the butt. They’re not hard to put on at all, but they summon bulky and irritating to deal with, but I think it’s worth it to give my leg and feet that extra little something they might need, and try to be good to them
