That’s amazing!! Congrats my friend! 🥳 You’re welcome! Is the GED popular in Myanmar? I visited SEA and went to Malaysia and Indonesia, but never made it up there!
@honeysan3686
@honeysan3686 Год назад
@GetSumMath Right now, GED and IGCSE*** are competitively popular here due to the current political situations in our country. But most of the students who participate in the Civil Disobedience Movement choose GED to finish their high school standard because, as you know, it is more comfortable not only on fees but on efforts and the lessons. Thanks for your congrats ❤️🫶 Come and visit also Myanmar when the country is back to the right authority. There are many beautiful places to see, and a lot of interesting traditions and cultures from various ethnic groups. 🇲🇲

@@honeysan3686 Very interesting! Thank you for sharing more about the two tests and the reasonings behind them. Wow, I just looked up the IGCES - I can't believe how expensive it is!! I would love to visit at some point! What are some favorite sites/areas that people should visit? Also, what meals do you recommend the most?
@honeysan3686
@honeysan3686 Год назад
@GetSumMath I am happy to share.❤️ It depends on which part of the country you would like to go. Each part of the country has traditional foods and unique cultures. A lot of visitors choose to go to Bagan, which is officially described as the World Heritage Site by Unesco. Bagan is in the middle one of the country and is famous for its thousands of pagodas, its historical events, and its ancient architecture. There are relaxing resorts on mountain regions like Pyin Oo Lwin and Kalaw. The visitors love to go to Chaungthar and Napali, which are the most popular beach resorts here. Many more sightseeing views are scattered all over the country, like in Rakhine in West, Myeik Archipelago in South, Inle Lake in East, and Maykha-Malikha Confluence(Myit-son) in North. And that confluence is the starting point of the Ayeyarwady River, the life blood of our country. Variety of foods are famous and have different tastes according to their places. Among them, my favorite one is called Hinn-tote in Shan State. Don't forget to try various foods and snacks when you come.❤️❤️❤️

I’m sorry if this is a dumb question but I’m a little confused on the the last question if you multiplied how exactly did the number get lower instead of higher I’m a little confused on why you wouldn’t use a different operation for this answer?
@GetSumMath
@GetSumMath 11 месяцев назад
It's a great question! Normally multiplying does increase a value, unless we multiply by a fraction (or a percent less than 100), which makes the result smaller. You could think of 20 • 1/2 = 10 or 20 • 50% which we could write as 20 • 0.50 = 10 which does make the original number smaller in the end. I hope that helps!

I am using calculator on pre GED practicing question for chapter 7 exercise is “Understanding Percent” so is it okay to use calculator on these type of questions if there is one in GED? Asking so I don’t build bad habit Questions like: ___ = 21% of 56, 52 = 40% of ____, 42 = ____% of 70, ____ = 45% of 89, Etc
@GetSumMath

Hello Sir Teacher! There are two GED practice exercise questions I was doing to complete my chapter and these two questions went over my head and don’t understand how they answered it and what method they used: 1) The population of a town increased 15% in 3 years. The population of the town was 6,000 originally. What is the population after the increase? 2) A storekeeper makes a profit of 25% when item A is sold. If Item W costs the store $20, what is it’s selling price? Step by step way on how this problem was solved plz I saw the answer behind the textbook and they showed the answers: question 1: 6,000 x 1.15 = 6,900 (I don’t understand how they got 1.15 and what method they used etc) Question 2: 20 x 1.25 = 25 (same for like question 1 don’t understand where 1.25 comes from)
@GetSumMath
@GetSumMath Год назад
You can do these 2 with the percent triangle (I'm working on another video with that now!). 1) You can do 6,000 • 15% = 900. Then, you can add 900 to 6,000 to get 6,900. 15% is 0.15 (15% is "per cent", so think cents, aka 0.15 cents) so 6,000 • 0.15 = 900 also 2) Same idea here. You can do 20 • 0.25 = 5. Then add 20 + 5 = 25 (final cost) ------------------------------------ What they did is add 100% + 15% to get 1.15 And then they did 100% + 25% to get 1.25 Hope that helps!

Could you please help me with this problem .... 'Stella has $270 for a trip budget. The car she will rent costs $60 plus $0.50 for every miles over 40 miles. How many miles can Stella drive?'
@GetSumMath
@GetSumMath Год назад
For sure! We'll start with the total minus any one-time fee: $270 - $60 = $210. From there, each mile (over 40) costs $0.50, so we'll see how many miles she can go on $210. 210 ÷ 0.50 = 420, so she can go 420 miles. But since that's how many miles over 40, we'll actually add 40 to that: 420 + 40 = 460 miles. So that should be our final answer 👍🏼

@GetSumMath Thanks a million ❤️ If you don't mind, I am wondering one question about the GED Math test. When there's a box blank to write the answer, do we have to write the units? And can you mention me on Statistics?
@GetSumMath
@GetSumMath Год назад
@@honeysan3686 You'll just write the numbers in the box, but not the units! Some of the main statistics problems on the GED involve mean, median, mode, and range. Here's a video on those if you're interested! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZZK1taXcdBQ.html
