Fr. in my homeland we are inundated with refugees. Still, the heart is strong & for those who need care we do our best amid political turmoil. Take 'politics' out of the equation & people are ok - it's when everything is sold as 'goodies' & 'badies' that tempers heat. We need peacemakers! I don't know a single Cleric in my homeland that does not believe that Ukraine should be free! Not one! I realise the war in the Holy Land is front & centre....so too did the war in Ukraine replace the war in Syria & all those families who drowned in the Aegean escaping....... The world is not different, there are wars, its just that news travels faster & good folk do their best & others protest.. We need to return to prayer & care more about eachother imo. If we can't identify with those who are in need, how the heck can we kneel at the Altar? Still, wise as serpants and gentle as doves! God Bless you Fr ❤
