Randy has a discussion concerning matching the correct line size with the sinker size you’re using…#bassfishing #fishing #fishthemoment #bass #fishingline Baitwrx link…bait-wrx.com/?... Blaukat old school jig link…bait-wrx.com/p...
That's a great deep dive into weights, lines, and how they work together. It's something that I think about a lot when I'm fishing a Texas rig, and I'm always fishing a Texas rig. Something I do is buy the 96¢ bags of bullet weights and paint them to match the colors of the lures I throw. I find that it really helps me get more bites, especially in clear water.
Hey Randy man I gotta tell ya you are some scientist at this bass fishing. Thanks for the time and effort you put into these videos just awesome I better go get some 25lb floro Randy in the past I thought 25 lb was to heavy for jig fishing and the stuff you were talking about in this video Randy it makes so much more sense to me to use 25 lb test theirs alot of advantages to useing this lb test especially the way you explain it. Randy I'm almost 60yrs old and I've never had such phenomenal information from anywhere and that's because of intuitive angleing we love you Randy God bless people like you there should be more people in this world like you brother. GOD bless you and your family your pal fisherman Mike. Ps intuitive angleing is the best in my book.
I know I took your advice on the fluorocarbon, and it has really helped on getting bites and catching more fish. I never knew you could actually use fluorocarbon on spinning rods. What a huge difference it has made. Out of all the tips that I’ve watched, this is probably one of my favorite things you have suggested, light line on fluorocarbon. I love the INVIZX you recommended.... it’s expensive, but definitely the best fluorocarbon I have used.
Would love to use Seaguar Invizx Line, but up here in Canada, 200yd, 20lb, is $39.99 you probably get yours From a sponsors for free. hard to fish with the good stuff on a fixed income, Great Videos just the same, thanks for sharing your time!!!
I use 10 dollar bass pro house brand floro.it works for my swimjigs, and 15 lb cracks em.in open water and shore jigging. I use backing mono to make the roll last a few spool ups before buying more.that way I can fish fresh line each trip.
Mono or Copoly can be used for quite a few different techniques. You need to understand the lines diameter for sure.. Randy used many a spool of Stren mono back in the day, and caught plenty of Bass. Stick with a line brand you are comfortable and have confidence with. Learn the characteristics of that line, and how it performs with different baits. Rest assured there will be a “New” line marketed every five minutes, many times , you will find yourself back with the line who brung you.
Randy what’s the best way to store your line? I grew up putting it in the refrigerator to block all sun light and keep it in a consistent temp. But I’m not sure if that’s best. Give me your opinion on line storage. Thanks
