I'm currently trying to do WC as oirat, I was worried that i might not be able to finish in time. After watching this i'm sure i will manage, ATM i'm at 1585, conquered whole russia, china, japan, middle east, half of indonesia and half of India. to the south there is only andhara and vijayangar, to the north most of the places are my tributaries - all done to avoid coalitions. Now after beating vijayangar i will drop tributaries, wait 5 years and kill them. India in my case was a bit harder due to a cluster of many small kingdoms in the area. My ideas are: 1st horde bc they are OP, then humanist, then diplomatic (to stack province WS cost with the reformation era and the mission for conqest of Russia) 4th admin - points were never the problem but extra governing capacity was quite useful + core reduction reduces time too. I personally don't think you need admin earlier bc yuan has that 20% build into it's ideas + 5%adm. eff. Stability is the most important thing. I'm practically always on 200 overextension and i haven't fought any rebels for nearly 50 years, that's how Horde+humanist OP are, not to mention the -3 unrest from missions and horde goverment. My next ideas will be either trade to boost it even more or some miliitaristic ideas like offensive/quantity/quality. A piece of advice: move your trading center to novogrod then to constantinopol (tho this 1 you can skip) lastly to english channel. Without any trade ideas, with yuan ideas and 1 monument in Persia giving me 1 merchant and 20% caravan power, i'm earning over 150 ducats from trade alone - just get every province with trade center into trade company, if states are good i'm adding every province (not only TC) to trade company for extra money - investments are op. also i used as my syncretic faith confucians for early game, when i got humanist i dropped it for no syncretic to get full tengri bonus which allowed me to use 100% cavalary, i dropped infantry and started going cav with cannons, it's worth bc normally cav is worth 2,5x more than inf. but does 1,5 the dmg. however in my case they are worth roughly around the same but i have 40% cav bonus +10% shock dmg +25%shock dmg as a horde on flat terrain. meaning that my 1 stack of 45 - 25 cavs and 20 cannons can easily destroy 100k of ottomans
i love playing Horde but i'm mad when Nogai,Kazan,Crimea,Uzbek,Chagatai are all allied with each other making it almost impossible to fight them..we haven't even discussed that they are all allied with Timmurid and Ajam too
It’s good to kill off Esen Taishi in an initial war with Korchin then capture Qizhen Zhu with a 19 year old ruler. Ideally you want the rng to go in your favor, and have this ruler last until ~70. That’s 50 years of 25% morale and 20% siege ability, iirc. It would also be cool to stack this bonus soon after with a similar Manchu ruler buff, but this means losing the Mongol mission tree. Push far to the west quickly, conquer Poland, Hungary, the Baltic, and Finland. Then rebel convert to Catholic and raise relations with the electors, become emperor. 70k manpower and force limit guaranteed now, for much of the game you can just have territories or trade companies. Then you can culture shift and use new mission trees, stack buffs, and create a massive 180% discipline army ending as the Mongol Enpire or Roman Empire.
1. Razing land burns off approx 1/3 of the core cost and gives you a chunk of mana. 2. Having good leaders, high level advisors and not buying techs ahead of time. 3. Avoid coalitions by either juggling truces so your neighbors can’t declare war, declaring on a coalition before it gets too big, improving relations to above 0, focusing on one culture/religion/region or going back and forth from opposite sides of your nation (e.g. from Muscovy to the jurchens), keeping your neighbor’s capital in terra incognita.
Are you serious man? I'm currently editing an Oirat video! We may need to talk a little Haha I'm not going for WC because i already did it a couple time but i do the khaaaan achievement
I think i will try to make a WC at Oirat) I've recently made it by Great horde -> Golden horde -> Mongol Empire and that was quiet easy to finish WC at 1704
What's your idea group set chief? Also, that Brazil PU over Portugal is from a Portuguese decision, that is possible after Portugal has lost enough provinces in Europe.
@@nerosefontaine9714 correct, Dom Joao fled to Brazil with the rest of the royal family and his son Pedro became emperor, before resigning and letting Brazil semi-independent
I’d suggest austrianwith emperor DLC. It’s honestly super easy. Once you revoke privledigia and have holy war, focus on expansion everywhere feeding stuff to your vassals.
@@britishemperor9170 bruh... Since Origins playing Austria is so bad, if I PU Bohemia and Hungary I get instant coalition of half of HRE, not even mentioning about Burgundian PU :/
hey bro can u help me, i can conquer at a decent speed i think when i go oirat, kiev in like 30yrs, mongol empire-sized lands maybe 1530 or so, but im always broke af when i start having to deal with the ottomans (who have 3x my income and cannons). How were you so sweet on money, do you just TC everything? :) apprece the video
Yo tiny question in my Mongol WC i am waiting for the last Institution. But it just doesnt spawn. Am i doing something wrong??? It is already 1800 i had the Wc in 1699
It tells you the requirements for it to spawn in the institution screen. You just need to hover over an icon(sorry I don't know how to describe the icon I'm talking about).
Bruh did u ever core provinces? If yes how did u manage to deal with it and also to deal with governing capacity and did u state all provinces or only few ones?
I am new to eu4 but how do you not get many rebels. Or do you get rebels often? Because I always find myself qued up with like 70 different rebel armies about to spawn
You just need to change the religion in the provinces to your own also you need humanistic ideas high stability also I'm sure there are videos on youtube on this topic that will tell you more
Religious ideas are great for this because of easy conversion to your religion, tolerance of true faith which decreases unrest in provinces of your culture, and as a bonus stability cost reduction. If you are a country with many differing cultures and a religion with weak conversion potential humanist is maybe the better choice. If you plan on going super wide both can be good just for your sanity's sake.
Humanist ideas by themself. Pair of humanist+horde and humanist+offensive Stab +3. High tolerance of true faith, at least 0 for heretics and heathens Upgrading monuments which will give you bonuses to unrest and tolerance Important note. When you play by horde you will have -5 to separatism, if you take humanist ideas it will be another -10. When you take a pair of humanist+offensive it's another -5. That way you will have a way less separatists, unless you will conquer new provinces. Im ny WC run I had to manage rebels at 200%+ overextension
i wonder if the overextension is a big problem, in my game i hate doing peace deals which result in more than 100% overextension. Do you have any tips?
When im playing as a horde i never care about oe i usually go first horde and humanist that way when even you reach 250 oe you get 1 or 2 rebel sometimes not even rebel if you lucky enough and keeping +3 stab all the time dont forget to razing mechanics it's reduce oe quite a lot
not much. because hordes raze provinces so your overextension and admin cost to core those provinces is lowered. plus you get admin points from razing high dev provinces.
can you elaborate please? i am new to the game and seem to lose alot of battles despite having more troops or a better commander, i build equal men and cannons and then like just a few cavalry@@TheJaydawarlord
A cavalry build is when you have a lot of cavalry combat ability bonus and you use cavalry regiments instead of infantry regiments completely or almost completely, it is better to watch the guide(s) on RU-vid@@dannius891
