What about the problem of a harmonica newbie’s playing a new instrument cold, encountering stuck windsavers, then concluding that the instrument must be defective? (I’m asking this question as a newbie.)

just received a new swan 12 note swan...first hole draws(slide in or out) play well until i do an extended draw then they fade out and remain that way and no longer play even with short breaths ..wait a few hours same situation ..doesn't seem a technique problem to me or is it? ......i am a pro diatonic player

I m affraid of ruinning my harp I wish if I can send it to mr. David to have a look ..unfortunately I have 3 harps and holes 4 and 5 are tuned as hole 4 and 6 789 are in fact 5 678....I don t know how to fix these issues.
