Dr. Sean McMeekin is a member of the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation’s Academic Council and the Francis Flournoy Professor of European History and Culture at Bard College. He is the author of The Russian Revolution; The Russian Origins of the First World War; and History’s Greatest Heist: The Looting of Russia by the Bolsheviks.
