I do like your approach i.e. the way you give the reason you are selecting/choosing a particular photo shot/s, it draws me in regardless of subject matter. I found the video enlightening of Folkestone, truly enjoyable. Thank you.
Really enjoyed your video Tudor , Street photography is the theatre of life ,this is why i love it capturing those moments on the street that that will never happen again , and nice to see some street architecture too, i find most people never look up at their surroundings . looking forward to your next video
Thanks Vicky. I like most genres of photography (as my channel shows) but I must admit Street & Urban photography is bringing me a lot of satisfaction especially as you rightly point out, it’s often about capturing those fleeting moments in Life. So much fun 🤩
That could work - I might give it a try. It could also be good to leave the camera at it's widest focal range (24mm on the cybershot) to make me force myself to get closer.
Tishya however did some time ago say that visiting hours may vary, so yes, it may be wise to check it out, but that's what I'm looking at this moment in time on -line.
That was a super photography trip around Folkestone which to some degree as persuaded me to update my camera equipment and gain the benefits of modernity. I don't know why i have not done it sooner. Thanks for the inspiration.
I must admit the wee compact camera has allowed me to change or should I say, be more flexible with my photography. That being said my Sony Cybershot is second hand and 12 years old 🤣

Hi Tudor I have to say that was a really nice trip around those quaint narrow streets of Folkestone of which i have not seen for some years now. As always your commentary is excellant. You mentioned at the begining of the street photography that Architecture was also another passion of yours. If thats the case have you covered Chilham Castle which has a wonderful history. As you may know it is Jacobean. Sadly it is only open to the public one day a week now after the owner the late Stuart Wheeler died in 1992,then it was opened to the public every day.He was a super fella. Spoke to him many times. Incidentally it sold for 15 million pounds. It was'nt me! Hope you did not mind me mentioning this. It may be useful it may not be.
Chilham Castle opens on Tuesday 16th April at 10am until 4pm I have already checked it out and it is only one to two days a week. Tishya Amin actually lives there with her husband, and runs her business from there.
Hi Tudor, how do you get on with your Nikon camera to take night shots with , keep up the good work , Kev, Maybe you could show us in a video how you do get on with evening shots. just to let you know, I will be taking a trip up to Avebury to photograph the stones. They are incredible. And unlike Stonehenge, you can get up close and personal to the stones

Hi Kev. No reference books for me. Firstly during lockdown I made the decision to learn about my DSLR and spent hours watching RU-vid. I still follow some photographers like Thomas Heaton and Henry Turner. But for the most part it was trial and error and continued use of the camera. It’s all gradually sinking in but as always, I’m still learning and picking up tips.
@@TudorSmithPhotography I get the power off and on again error. Lens buggered on my two but keep your camera away from dust at call cost as it causes a sticky lens
