Photographing Roads And Lanes 

Thanks very much. There is often a wonderful road scene to “spy” whilst driving. Sometimes those shots just happen when you’re there! Spontaneity is the name of the game!

Thanks Vicky. As I said in my video, so often a road is used as a leading line, and not as the main subject. I'm not sure I managed it all pictures I took but it was a lot of fun!

I chose my roads wisely but there was still traffic 🤣

I hadn’t thought of that - dips in the road and a long lens. I’ll bet that makes a terrific image 👍📷

I’ll only do post processing where I need it. For instance I might use dodge and burn to darken or brighten parts of an image or I might add brightness, contrast or saturation. I’m not very good with anything else (like the curve thingy). But I almost always leave the polariser on the lens as I like what it does to the skies etc. I’m not that technical really. But yeah, my images will undergo post processing 👍

@@TudorSmithPhotography thanks for your reply...I am not technically blessed & at 81yrs old I just accept what comes out of the camera & maybe only lighten or darken my pics... cheers from Australia 🦘🦘😊
