Welcome to Tanja's Tractor Adventure! In this episode, we'll be breaking ground in the first building of Tanlandia! Stay tune as we slowly expand into Alcove Tony, pushing him back into his sawmill closet.
She keeps annexing more land. LOL. We have post in the ground! I am excited for the build and for how I catch her looking at the building. She is decorating it all in her mind.
She'll get it looking nice. Looking forward to seeing what she gets planted to grow over winter. Will have to come by and see it, after the family beats back the Rona'pocalypse.
I love the kitten trying to keep up with his big buddy. Check out Living Traditions Homestead. They laid down woven ground cover several feet larger than the foot print of the green house. Keeps the weeds from growing up in and around their greenhouse from Grower's Solutions.
Gene, That cat hangs out with Gizmo all the time. I never thought I would see Gizmo take up with a cat like this. We are going to lay down a couple layers of landscaping fabric under the crushed rock.
You are doing a great job I think there was a good bit of planning done before you started.I will be watching this project thank you for sharing your video.
Great job !! Looking forward to seeing the greenhouse!! It's amazing the amount of work you two have put in. From raw land to this level of building is awesome !
Tanja great intro!!! At high speeds, it look as if more one tractor is working!!!! Gismo, I believe you many ending up be the most seen dog on You Tube!!!🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
I'm days from starting a project similar project. I've got the TYM T 264 with a 60" Woods Tiller and I am going to grade the frontage on my property. It's about 300' across and I am going to till about the first 20' deeper as I get to the road and roll into the ditch. Should make cutting the grass in the ditch much safer. I hope to have quite a bit of dirt to keep on hand for other projects.
Tony, thanks for all the great content. I had been a fan of rock hill farms and he mentioned you and your t25 in one of his videos. I currently have a 1025r that I have quite a few implements and accessories for and use it for various things around the house to included firewood making, grass cutting and bagging, pallet fork work, snow removal and general landscaping/land management. Part of my firewood process is lifting and transporting ibc totes full of firewood. They weight roughly 1200#-1700#. The 1025r originally couldn’t do it but I bought an upgraded hydraulic pump, upgraded the stock lift cylinders, installed an adjustable diverted valve and upped the psi pressure to 2400 psi. I am now able to lift and move around the bins but I can barely get them off the ground and it requires 800# of ballast. I can tell that it is probably a little much for the tractor. I am tempted to trade in and get into a t25 without the mid mower and just buy a zero turn for mowing. I also am looking for the backhoe on the t25 as I have it for the 1025r and have felt unimpressed with it. Do you think the t25 would be enough machine for what I want to do with it? I am in and out of the woods and love the versatility of having a small tractor, just need a little more lifting power. With your tires filled, do you feel you need additional ballast if you were lifting 1500# with the forks? Thanks again for your content and I look forward to any advise you can give me.
I have owned the JD1025R. The T25 is a bigger tractor with more lift capacity. The backhoe is very capable and is noticeably stronger than the 1025r. The two tractors are different. I don't recommend a mid mount mower with the T25. You can only have one or the other; backhoe or mid mounted mower. The T25 is a little to heavy for mowing a yard in wet conditions IMO. For what I do, the T25 out performs the 1025r in almost every way, unless you are talking about mowing. The 1025r is hands down, a better mowing system referring to the mid mounted mower. I have mowed with a rear mounted finish mower with the T25. I take the loader off to reduce the weight. It is a good mower in that situation.
I am needing to move 275# ibc totes of firewood a few times a year. They weigh between 1400-1600 pounds depending how green they are. I don’t need to lift them high. Just move them from point a to point b. Do you suggest that the t25 will do it or should I step up to the 2515
🚧🚧Ok, WO Your Fine lady is Fully in Charge of This Ground Operation, so enough talking and get to work 🤣😇💪👌👍 🚧🚧 LOL a little problem of pronunciation 😇👍 How many coffee that you drank WO ??? 🤣👌👍 Yes that was an OUTSTANDING Tractor therapy video and great close view 😇👍👌 Outstanding plan coordination 👍👌😇 Wife's are OUTSTANDING OSHA inspectors Right Sir🧐🤣👌👍 Cheers 🍻🍻
Tanja asked me the other day. "Don't you worry about that?" I don't even remember what we were talking about, but I tolder this. "I don't have to worry. You worry enough for the both of us!" LOL!
