I would like to see the minutemen and a reborn commonwealth provisional government in the future fallout games uniting the Eastern United States.

A cool idea for the story of fallout 5 would be if all the canonical victors of the past fallout games came together to do just what u described. I like it 😃

Simple: A group of shell shocked children witnessing a traumatic event, such as a flying warship and her crew crashing and burning to the ground means at least one of the squires later becomes elder, seeks revenge, builds up the Brotherhood Of Steel, and a massive war between the Minutemen and BOS ensues against Brotherhood Knights, possible armed with nukes, attempting to besiege the Castle. What happens then? Do the Minutemen stand their ground? Do they surrender? Are they all wiped out? Or the most likely alternative: Do they now have air support? Assuming this is actually canon, I'm sure that the Brotherhood Of Steel is still an extremely formidable adversary, even when they are weakened. A wounded animal is the most dangerous kind of animal, after all.

i wouldn't be that sure, yea the BoS would have a superior technology and they would propably take the Castle After a extremely hard Battle, but After that the BoS Is going to face and entire territory, like in the Vietnam war, every single settler, trader and Civilian can be a minute man, they would ultimately Loss or abbandon that campain, It would be to time cost.

Preston believes in doing what's morally right. Maxson is like Stalin. He claims to have the Commonwealth's best intentions at heart before driving a knife through the backs of the Minutemen and the Railroad simply because their ideals conflict with his own.

The Prydwen was too obsolete to be of any technological significance. The damn thing was a flying deathtrap. A few more Vertibirds and they would have gone over the weight limit.

Honestly? Yes. The Brotherhood Of Steel are for all intents and purposes one of my favorite factions in the game. But Maxson's paranoia makes him an even greater threat to the Minutemen than most of the Commonwealth's enemies put together. Add to that the fact that he has air support, mechanized infantry and Liberty Prime at his disposal. And he aims to make the Brotherhood Of Steel a nuclear superpower by having you clear out a stockpile of nuclear bombs guarded by super mutants to fuel his ambitions. So in the long run, by doing all this for Maxson, you are unwittingly creating an even greater threat to the Minutemen and the Commonwealth as a whole than the Raiders, Gunners, Institute, and the super mutants combined.

Yeah, at least in Fallout 4 BOS was evil as fuck

I heard Maxon was the one who insisted to bring those kids along. So, the way I see it, that's Maxon's fault. On the battlefield, it's not who pulls the trigger that's really at fault, it's the one who let them there in the first place.

Ahti Kõks The brotherhood are pretty messed up themselves, killing innocent lives because it doesn’t suit their morality or tick list.

City Guard, except they don’t they never kill inncocent humans or ghouls in the game once.

Tyler Ellis they tried to kill danse.

Tyler Ellis plus, they’ve been reported to kill non feral ghouls.

City Guard, they don’t kill non Ferals, not once in the game does the bos kill or attack normal ghouls, bos dialogue and terminals also show that Ferals are considered separate from normal ghouls. Some bos members have been found sleeping with normal ghouls. They don’t kill danse you might kill danse, Maxson can be persuaded to go against his ideals and spare danse, Danse also never tries to defend himself and vanished as soon as the bos find out he’s a synth and that’s immediately suspicious.

theres a mod for that, it lets you nuke every faction on your own.

Brandis, Ingram, Haylen, even maxson. we're all good people, but what's done is done, if they couldn't see reason to leave others alone and stay to themselves, then they knew the risk, they knew that there would be war if they attempted to try and control everyone's lives because they thought they knew what was best. It's sad to have to watch people I cared about fall in a blaze, but they brought it on themselves, their actions led to this.

Vaguecrawdad They betrayed Danse too. But you're right. I'm conflicted. I want to side with the BOS but I hate their racism. Oh and I hate the fuck boy Maxson. He pisses me off, how he reacts to things when he's half robot himself. Haylen should have been the new elder.
