I came here for the Magnetic Scrolls section (which was very well covered, excellent job as always). After playing the Hobbit on my speccy and then seeing 'The Pawn' on a friend's Atari ST I was blown away, I loved this type of game. I later owned an ST of my own. I currently own physical copies for the Amiga (The Pawn) and Spectrum Next (the whole series). Wonderland I ran on my Acorn Archimedes so it was a bit faster than other systems I guess...It was a fantastic genre, you could lose yourself in the world and try to work out the puzzles to progress. Each solution gave you a sense of achievement.

So I have been devouring your content (here and wrestling) for about nineish months and thank you for what you do. Great trip down memory lane, I had the Dizzy games on the C64. It's nice to be reminded that codemasters used to do great games for various genres, rather than just cranking out licensed racing games like they seemed to have done the last few years

I always loved CodeMasters. I can remember buying my first big box expensive title from CodeMasters when mum took me to PeterJones in Sloane Square and I bought.............Rugby. I think on the Atari ST. I have no memory of actually playing it so it must be one of their legendary "stinkers". Expensive mistake for a 9 year old....
