Some years ago when I lived in Eaton Rapids I contacted you and hand delivered my sons shirts. You made the experience so nice and the finished products were beyond what I expected. Yes I had checked all the others but wanted a “quilt!” Glad I went with you and my son loves his two pillows made from his baby clothes and the beautiful quilt!
I was about to buy a Project Repat blanket until I looked up some reviews and found you guys. Will definitely order from you in the future, just gotta save up some money first! The only downside!
Thank you for a fair comparison of your product. Too Cool quilts are clearly superior to a blanket. I'll be contacting you soon to order one. Great job
Thank you for making this video! I use the Too Cool T-Shirt Quilt method for my customers and was disgusted when I first saw advertisement for Project Repat. I will be sharing this video!
Thank you for making this video. I find it very helpful to see both sides of the coin. While I can see how others may be upset about contacting the customer regarding color choice, I think phrasing it as an artistic suggestion is nice and can be helpful if you are unsure of what color would work best.
Great video and explanation but just went to the too cool site and wow... huuuuuge price difference as well.. I can get up too 7 blankets for one quilt.. I was really looking to get a quilt but for that price I may have too settle for some of my shirt gone
I was contacted by Local quilter and ask about prices.. she had a six month waiting list and the quilt would’ve cost me about $600.. For a project repack quilt twin size I paid with shipping $120 I realize the quality will not be as good as from the quilter way not as good but for right now just has to do it
I’ve used other quilt companies in the past prior to finding Too Cool Quilts and am now going exclusively with Too Cool. The quality of their products is vastly superior in my humble opinion. I especially like the fact they are thinner than other quilts, but the quilts are still as warm as products made by companies like Campus Quilts who use thicker and inferior batting. The fact TC custom cuts each tee-shirt dependent on the size of picture and do not ‘cookie-cut’ all shirt the same size is another distinct aspect and unique to them. I’ve done my research and am going with Too Cool from now on. Marc
@@T-shirtquilts Yes, I completely Agree with Marc and will be choosing your company once I am ready to create my special quilt. 😉👍 I am very grateful you made this video, as it helped me decide which way I'd prefer to keep my Travel Memoirs alive and actually use it daily rather than folded in a drawer. 😍
This video convinced me to go with Too Cool. A quilt versus a blanket...come on. No comparison. If you watched the whole video, it's clear that a quilt is superior to a blanket.
From reading these comments I can see how Project Repat continues to stay in business with a clearly inferior product. I am so thankful I discovered Too Cool, and didn't send my precious memories to PR. Two very different clienteles, obviously! 😉 To each his own!
I respect your opinion, but Too Cools cheapest quilt is $400 and most people can't afford that. I have blankets from Project Repat and paid $70. The quality is great and not inferior. They did a fantastic job. I'm sure Too Cool is good, but asking $400 for the cheapest option is not going to bring in a lot of customers.
Comparing the differences between the two and sharing what makes your company unique is one thing but bashing another brand is just awful and in bad taste. Project Repat is a company with purpose and they are doing great things for people.
What a seriously flawed and biased evaluation. Firstly, if you are comparing your project to a competitors, then of course you will pick shirts that play to the strengths of your design and the weakness of your competitors. And of course you intentionally didn't send enough shirts forcing them to put a blank square. Secondly who gives a flying whoop about the back, that is not what your competitor is selling. They are selling the preservation of memories to their customer at an affordable price while still paying a high wage to employees. Thirdly, it is not their job to call and tell you picked the wrong color. Frankly, if I purchased a blanket and you called me to tell me I picked the wrong color, I would be insulted. The customer picks what they like, that is their prerogative.
