Glad I found this. All videos show stabalizer ironed on which to me defeats reasoning of making a tshirt quilt. Im also old school. I rarely use any iron porduct. I remember when stitch witchery didnt have any glue! We had to "sew in" all stabalizers to collars, front shirt plackets in late 60s, early 70s. I dont use often except if doing an applique on a jean tote because they all wrinkle over time if washed and dried.

I wish I found your videos before I started my gradaughters TShirt quilt!! I stabilized 60 shirts! I have SPS , Stiff Person Syndrome so unfortunately my body doesn’t allow me to work on it a lot. Your way would have saved me hours of pain and agony! I wanted to add the strips between but couldn’t find a video n thought it would be to hard!!! I will do my next 6 grandkids quilts , Your way! You have saved me!! Thank you for Your videos! So I have my quilt together now I need to know how to do batting and binding!!! How do you make a design on -quilt on it without a long arm or does that even need to be done, I’m so glad I found you and Your machine is amazing. I’m working with an Elma Supermatic.

Hello Sonya, are you using the green strip instead of using an interfacing? I have never watched your RU-vid before, so I don't know what the green strips are for. Is the green fabric just cotton? Is it broadcloth or an old bedsheet? Thank you.

Do you have any tips for making a double sided tshirt quilt without stabilizer? I see in your video you use cotton strips of material between each tshirt. I am not planning on using any other material to make a boarder between the tshirts. Also what kind/size of needle do you use? I have a Janome sewing machine.

Sonya, love the video - but how do I get the other two videos that you talk about, cutting the t-shirts and the strips and corner blocks. I made two t-shirt quilts like yours without knowing what I was doing and that I was “supposed” to put stablizer in them. I am glad I didn’t . I didn’t see it on your facebook page.

Do you put them on a quilt machine to quilt them?

Exactly what kind of machine do you have and does it have a needle threader and where did you get it from

Are your strips and squares t-shirt or regular cotton fabric?

I know you don't use stabilizer on the backs of t-shirt, how do you quilt them to keep them from stretching while quilting them.. I have done both ways and always bunch with out stabilizer when quilting on a long arm.. any advice is helpful..
