I'm in a few different motorized bike groups online one thing I've heard over and over is people like the 100s but turn away from them because of the lack of aftermarket parts so I think that would definitely make some people happy
I would love to see more parts for the 80/100. I think that it would be cool to have it eventually be similar to the 66/80 engines in aftermarket part availability.
Idk why people just say those 80cc are 80cc motors as they are not, like minarelli’s they are same bore and stroke yet 70cc wich is close to true capacity, same with those 100/80 engines
I have 3 of the 100cc engines and as far as power goes, they have a lot, I've put a modified exhaust from a pit bike on one of them and it increased the power by at least 70%, the only drawback that I can think of is that a the engine gets really hot and the clips for the wrist pins will warp and get hung up on the sides of the cylinder, causing it to mess up the cylinder. You might as well buy a new replacement engine for what they are asking for just the cylinder and piston kits.
My 2 cents I have had the yd100 for a while and find they like to breathe the more air in and out the better. Like most engines I suppose. But this one in particular bigger carb, expansion chamber, more spark all of these adders just to a stock internal motor is incredibly helpful. 10 to 15+ more mph. If you want to get really crazy with this motor and do 50mph it is very attainable. I trade off a little for torque because I'm a bigger guy with a larger rear sprocket. But if you want that top end cruising speed just those three adders you won't be disappointed. If someone comes out with a nice head and some piston work. Nobody would be buying the 66/80.
I guarantee if exhausts were made for the BT and 100 they would sell. Even designing a new jug and head with a standard exhaust port would sell, I wouldn’t think that you could keep them in stock. That way you could use all the China doll parts like the upgraded heads and the standard pipes would just bolt on. The only reason people buy the BT80s is for the electric start. Opening up the door to modify them would sell even more.
Even making an adapter from the bt to the stock exhaust pattern would be fantastic, then you can plug ang play an aftermarket exhaust you've got laying around the garage.
I personally would like to see 2 piece jug and cylinder head so that in future those parts could be upgraded or replaced as well with the expansion chamber personally that is what kept me from buying this style
@@tonytaylor5087 my first motor had the one piece jug style and when someone before I purchased the bike stripped and cracked and exhaust housing bolt I just replaced the motor with a more updated motor with the open transfer ports and the head went to cnc but the one piece design alone makes rebuilding a lil more
Nah they are doo doo selling some “stage” engines charging insane price for a stock engine with a different head, diff air filter and red wire on bone stock cdi
Also those cheap expansion chambers they offer, every single one of them does not do anything as its for a 25-50cc engine at most, only the deluxe pipe is worth something but still overcharged for a china mz65 clone
The high performance heads just help with cooling mostly but a good expansion chamber exhaust is something you should do because you would sell a pile of them right away. Are there any differences between this and the zeda 80/100cc? You can get the zeda in a two piece cylinder and you can get a good expansion chamber exhaust because the flange is the same as the others but other than that
I love building motorized bikes and have a couple. I think it would be great to be able to modify more in the 100cc, there’s not much you can do with it.
I would love more parts for the 100cc. I was going to buy one but for the price I just got a stage 4 kit from you and I really want mire power like the 100/80cc but to get into making custom parts is waaaay outside my range of comfort, price range and time. If you worked on a 2 part jug and exhaust adapter that was roughly ported to match the bbr kit it would get alot of traffic I'm sure
Hello I need help with the engine it got jammed the first one like was in the video the 80/100cc I need parts for it where can I buy then like thole top part the cylinder and I need the piston with the piston rings please help.
I'd buy a 2 peice cylinder and head and an expansion chamber for my bt100. A longer intake would be good so the gas dosent boil back up the fuel line and blow your motor. The stupid bikeberry website said it was a 40mm intake so I bought a longer 40mm intake and it didnt fit, I had to narrow the bolt hole pattern signifigantly and file a flat spot into my bolt washers to get them to sit flush. I'll update this tomorrow when my new 32mm intake shows up to verify the correct size. A package deal on a better top end + pipe would be sweet tho.
I would like bike berry to sell the 100cc with exhaust that is like the 66/80cc and the jug be separate from the head.those big heads really give it some extra life
I’ll tell you the best exhaust option… get rid of the exhaust completely! Ya it’ll make it way too loud but it’ll also give it an extra 20-30% more power because that motor has no restriction. I drive around Atlanta & I don’t care if it makes noise. It just makes it safer to drive if everyone can hear me. I have some shoes I wear for riding because that 2 stroke exhaust blows mostly right out towards my left shoe. I think the louder noise is well worth the safety & extra power I get. It’s worth messing up an old pair of shoes. Just get rid of the exhaust altogether.
is it possible to add a kickstart like a real motorcycle has? i heard the pull start usually blocks the pedals from rotating. i would love to see a kick start that springs out of the way when it isnt in use as to not block the pedals so you can still pedal your bike.
realistically how fast would a 60/80cc engine go if i were to put it on a basic go cart. My friend gave me his used 60/80cc from his bike but i want to make a custom gocart and isnt sure if that is enough power
very similar findings with my two engines. I had an 80/66... I don't even remember the brand name. It was grossly underpowered. I had changed the sprocket to increase its speed which made it really struggle on hills. Luckily the cylinder blew after about 8 months of use (terrible reliability). I bought a much more reputed 100 cc Anbull & switched to a very high quality 2 stroke engine oil from AMSOil (oil is cheap & engines are expensive. The performance is like night & day. I hit mid to upper 30s top speed according to a local neighborhood speedometer. Sometimes I have to make 3 passes for it to recognize me because it's only designed to pick up cars. I definitely would NOT want it to go any faster. It's as fast as I would want it to go. Don't forget this is just a bicycle with V brakes. 😄 Spend the extra $50 or $60 & get a brand like Anbull or what they sell on BikeBerry. You won't regret the purchase
I have a new 100cc bbr tuning engine, I like it so far. Still breaking it in and would love to see what kind of high performance parts you could come up with. Maybe some kind of enhanced throttle to get it to go more when you twist it back. Also have 80cc broke in motor but wanted more top end. Idk keep up the good work love the video's. Very informative. Thanks
Honestly the nerf job w the new 2ting piston … last year… idk what it’s like now but… they locked up left and right the one before it tho was indestructible
I got a few of the bt100s personally you guys need to make exhaust for it there's no options also you guys don't even carry the piston in stock no more and I'm needing a new piston for the 100
Tony, I enjoy that bit of theatrical art in your performance out here (there :), thx a lot, I'm just putting together my first this ebay bought item that stood alone for a couple of years, but.. that's a whole another story, anyways, I feel we are in same latitudes geographycaly despite the continents that we have born on. I like your image that you're building your channel - that's a way to go!! Offtoppic, I got her started with help of brake cleaner direct injection into carburetor, she stood still for an hour or two idling while I was watching her in thermo (infra red) camera to follow temperature... bla bla bla, we could talk all night long, one thing I can tell you - I allready have a whole A4 paper of wish list of what improvements have to be made to this girl ( so you, americans, call them, or am I wrong?). Looking for tomorrow to ride it for the first time, this evening just ~2h idling.
I ive in a mountain town, and there obviously a lot of hills to go up and down, I got the 100cc motor with my kit hoping it would be enough to get me up these hill, I guess when I put it all together I will find out, first thing I will do of course is a test run. Anyway before I get that far, any suggestions on motor or whatnot?
I've done 3 of these installs 2 80s and the third the one I just did a 100 all three for myself I like the bikes there fun the 80s everything went smoothly got good service outta them but for some unknown reason my 3rd the 100 I'm having a heck of a time and the the vibration leaves my hand numb after a few miles heck I rattled off a brand new set of mirrors first time out (didn't really like them anyway) itsa 29inch gennis aluminum cruzer frame the first 2 80s where 26 steal cruzers do you think the larger aluminum frame is the vibe problem I'm not even through the 2nd tank of fuel and I've picked up se good info from your video that going to apply before I pass judgem e nt on the 100 but it is given me a hard time any input ..anybody .
If the 80/100cc boosted at stage 4 would perform and outlast the 66/80cc at stage 4, then i would throw my money on the 80/100. Im in canada, and im sure i could make a small business out of this
i love the bullet train and i would love to have a different exhaust not just a expansion chamber but also something like the f2 thruster and the street popo i like a long pipe but thats just me
I have the 100c engine but my mounts had snapped off and I’ve had the hardest time to find the right mounts that fit my bike can anyone help me please?
do you guys carry bike gas kits for someone who needs an engine pulling 300lbs and i found one on amazon that's 100cc for about 100$. that's honestly all aI have to spend atm!! I'm 19 and if it comes to assembally I can do it(i think it's fun to tinker) but everywhere else I Look the lowest price is 180$. I only need a motor to fit my beginner MTB GT.(I've been using it for the past several years.) E-bike kits are too expensive so I thought I'd go gas since they lasmuch longer in terms of distance anyways! Atleast that's what I read... Please someone let me know!!!
I'm new to the motorised push bike world but have found building my first really easy. I have as much mechanical knowledge as a flea 🤣 however I have found issues not with the build but the uk government won't let me ride mine on the road with the engine running as to them it's now a motorbike and not a push bike, so mine could be the first push bike registered as a motorbike 🤣 but so far I've taken it through some fields and I love it, best fun I've had since being sober 😂
Get calipers. Chinese just slap a 66/80cc sticker on the name and bam. If you want to actually know what size, then measure it 😂. Bikeberry definitely isn't the beezknees 😂
