To say China isn't interested makes it sound like the JF-17 is bad. The JF-17 was bespoke designed for Pakistan. It fits their needs perfectly for now. So that makes sense.

The J-10A was offered to Pakistan Air Force (PAF) nearly 10 years and after evaluation PAF recommended 50 improvements. Now the J-10C have all these improvements but PAF prefers JF-17 III as low cost fighter with nearly the same capabilities.

J10c is an amazing Jet with all capabilities a 4.5 generation jet should have... Same Pak is going to do with Thunder Block 3....

JF17 is a Light weight multi role fighter while the J10 is a medium weight multirole Air superiority fighter. No point in comparing them since both are of different purposes.

The main thing is jf 17 is capable of fight any aircraft and is also a very low cost air craft and maintain cost is also very low and one more thing is its avionics and the pl missiles with 300 km range even more than rafael meteor with 150km range.

I'm Chinese. Let me explain. J10c is China's main fighter, so it is better than jf17 in terms of various data, which is a fact. But jf17 is tailor-made by China according to Pakistan's national conditions. Because Pakistan is a developing country, economic cost is the most important consideration. I actually like JF-17 more because it is a traditional frontline light fighter that's cheap, easy to operate, and have high availability rate. Further, due to technological advancement, modern frontline light fighter like JF-17 and Gripen are all-weather, multirole, fighter-bomber that can take on everything. With latest gen BVR missiles, light fighters actually have an advantage by being smaller and naturally stealthier

1:37 You've made a mistake. The whole JF17 isn't made by China, about 58% of the Aircraft was designed by Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) and it was specifically designed by them for the Pakistan airforce (china doesn't use it it's just a partner in the program).

J10 long length combat radius suitable for vast area of China. Pakistan need medium range combat radius that suit for medium size country

According to my analysis Pakistan Air force should opt for its own model the JF-17 Thunder due to its low maintenance cost and easy operational capabilities. Secondly after the induction of PL-15 beyond visual range (BVR) air to air missiles for its Block 3 variant, the JF-17 thunder has an overwhelming edge over its adversaries. Thirdly Pakistan Air Force have the "Block Building" option. They can modify their planes according to their own specification/requirement or according to the specification/requirement of their Foreign Clients. Fourthly Pakistan offers a package which includes a wide variety of Chinese bombs/missiles that can be easily installed on the JF-17 Thunder. As a whole I personally see JF-17 Thunder as a major threat for its adversaries, in the up coming years.

What j10c is better than jf17 is not take-off weight, power or range. The most important thing is the larger nose radar (although they are all aesa, but the size determines the number of T/R components, which directly affects performance) and Full digital Fly-By-Wire, jf17 is semi-mechanical controller.

Proud of Sino-Pakistani development programs. Think about this, India is the world's biggest or 2nd biggest weapon importer because many of their programs failed after years of delay. Pakistan on the other hand is in the exclusive club of nations that export advance fighters

J-10C's maneuverability is better than JF-17 even better than F-16 plus it has an engine that is powerful than of the JF-17 plus it can cover more distance with more weapons than JF-17. Basically it is the best alternate of F-16 viper.

Modern fighters are built around BVR fights. The idea is if there are 2 snipers shooting at each other, than it doesn't matter that much if one sniper is skinny and the other one is like Mike Tyson, it's all about the skills and the Rifles at that range. It's okay the skinny guy not standing any chance up close. This reminds of that Indian Jones shooting the guy waving the sword scene in Raiders of the lost ark, lol.

Pakistan just needs 200 f17 thunder block 3, while ideally acquiring 3 squadrons of j-31. for long range maritime strike the PAF needs to induct the Chinese version of the Su-27. Not until the economy starts to develop we are not in a position to go on a spending spree.

A lot of your facts are wrong. It was never developed by China alone. From day one it was a venture of Pakistan and China, hence JF (joint fighter). Iran, North korea etc are not the clients. Malaysia, Argentina are potential clients while Nigeria I think have already bought few. They are already competent enough to counter current Indian jets. Meanwhile all f-16’s of Pakistan have been already upgraded to the latest variants.
