One of the best reviews of these two models but when we are talking about subwoofers it would be nice to include some infrasonic (below 20Hz) measurements as well. To my understanding PB has much sharper roll-off in that regard but there isn’t much direct comparison measurements out there.
Hi, did you ever tried to combine dual subwoofer (one on top of another) but 1 are sealed and another are ported? I'm planning to buy PB 2000 pro to try, my current subwoofer is SB 2000 pro and Kef Kube 12B (both are sealed). The SVS guy said it's better to use sealed with sealed and ported with ported , but I read in the forum somewhere about combination sealed and ported and sound just fine. My room are big (I didn't have a dedicated room for theater) - its 6 meters x 8 meters and the ceiling 7-8 meters. Thanks
I'm currently using an SVS PB 1000 Pro, there are a few scenes in the film where the bass isn't strong and the sound is broken, if I replace it with an SVS PB 2000 Pro which has more power than the SVS PB 1000 Pro, I won't have any bass problems. is it no longer strong like what I experienced with the SVS PB 1000 Pro? thanks a lot...
