Your knowledge & utterly stupendous collection (even after the cull) never ever lets us down Jürgen! I love hearing you talk about the music you love! Yes… to a Pt 3… please!!🤘🏻
"Knowledge", hahaha... yeah, it´s all about the important things in life when you don´t need to care about anything else! Part three is in the making my friend!
Great stuff again Jürgen. Do have both the editions of Paradox, great album. But mine are not signed....... Nice to have friends in bands.😎😎 For the most part the re-issues sounds very good, but some remasters can take away some of the warm sound, especially on the 80's stuff. Cheers. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
I´ve been in contact with Charly for the last 37 years, that´s why my Paradox stuff is signed, hehe... Do you know the Dismember reissues of "Everflowing..." and "Death Metal" on Back On Black? Holy crap, they were so bad!
@@albertampel4175 Sadly i did pick up the first one on BOB, but still have my OG vinyl, so I'm good, hehe. But yeah, BOB did some crappy shit in the early days.
Great choices again 🤘I have a mix of most of these shown on OG and reissue and cd. I was lucky to find an OG of Sodom here in Australia a couple of years ago. Cool to see those slight differences in pressings🤘
If I can´t find a decent priced OG I´m ok with a good reissue, most of my collection is mixed up as well. I´m glad I didn´t sell my old collection, can you guess that???
High Roller would be an option, they did a good job with the Destruction reissues. I only have the "Grin" reissue because I missed the original pressing, the others I have only the old pressings.
I like these comparison videos. Im picky on the packaging too and what they do with the center labels sometimes. I have the Hellhammer reissue and a Noise OG (silver center labels). It was one of my most expensive original press records Ive bought. I also spent $100 on the OG cassette version on Banzai Cdn press. Worth every penny. Cheers Jurgen!
Jason, I think we as collectors all have a "luxory problem", hahaha.... I paid 15 Deutschmarks (around $8) for my OG Hellhammer record. That was of course still in the 80s.
An "Early Sodom" boxset would be nice indeed! The Destruction set was nice but I refused to buy it because it was all picture discs. More from Destruction in part 3....
Hi Jürgen! Sure, Show No Mercy is something special for many of us, and rightly so. But these records by Protector, Sodom, and Hellhammer also need to be shown. Awesome classics! The reissue of In the Sign of Evil makes me think of two songs you mentioned here. Because when the music is over, don't flip the record, you definitely would be on the wrong side of the tracks. 😆🤘
I found a couple of more classics that I have on OG and reissue so there will be a Part 3. The music´s never over at my home but I´m always on the wrong side of the tracks, hahaha....
Hi jurgen! Curious you seem like a gambler metal type!! Can't afford the hammer 😂 but which metal lp, the seconds of the songs from the tracklist would you say will win the lottery??? Any guesses??
I just took a look at Discogs. It´s not available in any colour right now. The OG is well overpriced! I´m just missing "Tapping The Vein" on vinyl, got everything else...
I had the Nuclear Death LP decades ago but never warmed up to it so I sold it in the early 2000s. I´ve not heard Derketa but I´m aware they reissued their music a couple of years ago. Maybe I should check them out....
