great video, we just purchased a 2024 Z330R from our local dealer here in Nova Scotia, what great service John Deere gives, painless and very fast purchase. made the application out on Friday morning went into the dealer Saturday morning and the Mower arrived in my driveway Tuesday before Lunch. we went from a 2011 D130 to this beauty, put almost two hours on it today just showing off to the neighbors.
Had a 300 series for three years and decided to move up to the Z545R and you won’t go wrong with the comparison. Not saying the 300 was bad it worked very well but the upgrade to the 545 was a great upgrade and definitely enjoy jumping on it 😊
The big difference in the two is the drive systems and you never mentioned it. Also you continued to compare the highest option Z5 and didn't say what the lower option Z5 contained. Personally I would never but the Z5 you highlighted due to the electronic controls. Just more to go bad. I like the simple cable controled throttle and choke!
you break down mower parts really good, I was just hoping to see close up shots of the parts you mentioned Vs Zoomed out all the way out, I think thats what missing in your videos which most others channels do, I am hoping this can be something you'd consider because you do put out good content its just we cant see most things up close. I ordered the Z330M, have you had any of your customers have belt issues or any other issues with this machine? thanks in advance
Hi Humble, thanks for watching! We love the feedback. We don't know of any immediate issues with belts on this one, we'll check in with our various service shops and get back to you!
My old JD mower needed repair and service at JD and everywhere is a min of 7 wks. Bought a Z530M someone had ordered and didn’t pay. Otherwise it would be spring 2024 to get one in. Six used JD mowers sold same day the JD listed them on website. Only complaint deck hight and scalpers not adjusted when delivered, not a big deal but spent over 6k, also miss the yellow deck. Suggestion to dealers to up sell accessories at discount at time of sale like bumpers and hitches
Ive heard that among the other changes on the z300 mowers that the Briggs and stratton engine is no longer the intek and that its their exi engine. Is the exi a little better than the old intek? I know the intek engines were kind of known for their camshafts going out over time. Can you tell us the differences between these two?
@@TheLeaderofTheBand After 6 mows I couldn't be happier. It rides like a commercial mower. Nice blade balance, vibration is minimal. Plenty of power, excellent control, and comfort not matched on others in the same price range. it's a win.
@@crustydribblins I was trying to get the z330R but it went out of stock, so I found out the Z330M (shown on this video) is exact same mower, engine, except it does Not have lights (which i dont need) and arm rests, rubber mat, compartment door(which I bought all seperate) so my z330M ends up being same mower like your Z330R (without lights, which again I dont need or use only mow in day time) but yeah these seem to be great machines, glad you are enjoying yours, I am sure I will enjoy mine once it gets here in about a week! I already received the arm rests, rubber mat, and oh I bought the Foot Pegs for more foot comfort, does Z330R come with Pegs? Just sharing this incase someone else wants the R but its out of stock, get the M and buy just the extra bells and whistles that you need. hope this helps someone(although it is a bit cheaper to buy the R vs M and all the parts) unless you dont need some of the parts like me I saved $130 by Not buying LED Lights which i dont use. Cheers!
I need help deciding between 2 used JD zero turn mowers. Which would you choose if you had to decide between a 2019 Z540R (with Kawasaki engine) with 100 hours or the 2023 Z325E (Briggs & Stratton engine) with 40 hrs? This is for home use only. 540 a little more but almost same price
Hey CTN, thanks for watching! Jason says: "Personally, I would base my decision off of condition, need, and price. In that order. Both can be great machines."
Hey Carl, not sure what source you're reading, but that is just not true. The zero turns in John Deere's lineup (Z300, Z500, Z700, and Z900) are backed with warranties just like all other John Deere equipment. Thanks for watching!
