Awesome, thanks. Are you thinking about swapping parts from old/new to make definitive versions. For example, I like the idea of putting the new bandolier on the old Wooof. Maybe a head swap from new Nikto onto old Nikto body etc? Thanks for the cool video, man!
I plan on doing a bit of customizing down the line- but yeah- a little part swapping here and there and Wooof and Nikto would be easy to do and you’d end up with a perfect version of each!
Great video, thank you, No Skills. I too am a Jabba's goons obsessive. As well as representations of our main heroes (including Admiral Ackbar and Lobot, of course), I have two main collections: a small but perfectly formed Imperial Army, and JABBA'S PALACE, my favourite part of all the Star Wars films (because, that, THAT, is when the Jedi actually return! The Jedi return so he can save his friend!!) Really useful information in this video, thank you. But I'm sorry, for me he will always be called 'Klaatu', not 'Wooof'. I'm not sure, but is Klaatu the name of an entire species or something these days? Anyway, I cannot think of him as anything other than Klaatu... how I treasured by '83 original in my clammy nine year old hands...
You know how there was the Kenner Klaatu and “Klaatu Skiff guard” figures? Nowadays Klaatu is officially Wooof and “Klaatu skiff guard” is just Klaatu so I think we’re meant to think that’s an individual’s name not the species
I set them up in multiple displays. I have each one in a display next to its Kenner counterpart and I wanted more to be on the sand skiffs. Wooof in particular also shows up in Jabba’s Palace. Plus, I just love the look of those aliens, so now that they’re affordable (relatively speaking -$17 is stil a lot) I plan on customizing them to make background characters.
@@RC-8802 Exactly- I have not yet made Yotts Orren (the green Nikto on the second skiff), so having an extra Wooof will definitely go towards that- the Kithaba and Nikto will probably become Mandalorian bounty hunters etc. I might redo the Weequay on the sail barge now, too.
@@noskillcustoms well there are 2 of that colorful weequay on the barge so you’d just be making the other guy. You aren’t gonna turn that Kithaba into a modern Barada?
@@RC-8802 I was gonna give hasbro til the end of the year to announce one…but yes! That is why I needed another one! I actually forgot that’s why I got him!
The Kenner line will always be special to me, but the new Vintage Collection figures with the range of characters they’ve made, and the pose-ability they have -they’re pretty great too. But really those Vintage Collection toys wouldn’t exist if the Kenner line hadn’t come first!
