Gotta be honest: The main reason I'm sticking with Neptune are the beachball and bucket and spade. In a world of serious, stoic, gun-toting figures it's just nice having something more lighthearted.
Aesthetics win for me, 2.0 worth the extra cost. Great comparison. Just shows how things develop in just a few years from 1.0! Great time to be a collector

That was about what I expected. I always thought the XTB version was pretty nice, but I never picked it up. Mostly, I thought it was too tall. Always appreciate these vs videos.
You didn’t give Xtransbots the point when you said they tied on transformation. And you gave Fanstoys the point for cartoon accuracy. But not the point in altmode. When that one is the most accurate to the toon in altmode. Lol
Nice! Was going to pick up Fans Toys and decided to watch the review and now, I'm going to go with the X-transbots version. Cheaper and looks good witha nice balance of toon accuracies and real world looks.
@@TMReviews Between you and Skullface Bobby, I love watching your channels as I'm fairly new to collecting these 3rd party Transformers, just within the past year. I've been collecting Takara Tomy / Hasbro's Masterpieces but, they're getting cheaper while costs is going up. I'll still get them, if I like the figures such as Starscream 2.0 and Skyfire. However, your videos are a lifesaver for people like me who are late to the game. Thanks for everything and keep up the great job.
Neptune wins for me by being G1 toy accurate. I don't need cartoon accuracy to character models that were designed to be simplified & easy to draw, while often being ugly. It's like those Filmation MOTU toys that never look good. The toys came first. 20 years ago the fandom couldn't stand how the cartoon looked, now it's "the toys must be cartoon accurate or they're bad". The toys came first... if only Dery had made Ironhide look like the toy, we wouldn't have had 4 decades of "the toy got it wrong!" even though the cartoon was the one that messed up.
I like the sleeker look of the original Spindrift, even though it's not as accurate as the 2.0. 2.0 and Neptune definitely are closer to the cartoon, with the more dumpy body. They're all pretty nice options at the end of the day. Love the accessories that come with the Neptune.
Excellent Comparison per Usual, and your Objective Categories are perfect. The Overall Winner Should be and is Xtransbots. Xtransbots wins hands down...2/3 the price, 2 years earlier, better Paint, better articulated and better Accessories. 2.0 looks is Overtooned.
Ft robot mode is more cartoon accurate. Alt mode looks cheap for some reason. Xtb vehicle mode for me is so much better. But I like extras more and I just like the xtb version a touch more. But if I can get the ft version I will.
Yeah I never understood these reviewers that categorize “cost” over value. With FansToys, you get what you pay for MOST OF THE TIME., whereas with XTransbots, it’s like playing roulette. Unfortunately, I think most people watching this review will be able to tell who wins the comparison from the start.
Most of the categories are partially subjective so it's hard not to have a category that is just fact based. Value is a perception and hard to show or demonstrate but I'll take that comment into consideration for next time.

You gave point to XTB for sculpt and alt mode? My XTB came with missing 2 screws on both feet, the shoulder joints gives good range move but it looks ugly.
Pffffff difficult.... I really liked Xtransbots, but the more i look at him the more the disconnecting arms bother me....and the face of Fanstoys 2.0 with those eyes just pops.... Then again, $69 or $97 for a figure i don't care for cartoonwise, but i had it as a kid and lost in when i was playing with it outside in a rainpool(probably went down the gutter) hahaha. Nostalgia is expensive...
Come on man, why have categories if you’re not going to be objective? Just start the video by saying which one you prefer, then talk about the individual bots. It would save everyone a whole lotta time.
To be fair, my channel so my rules lol. It appears you didn't actually watch the whole video because the figure that won isn't the one I prefer....I kept fans toys and sold xtb despite xtb getting a higher score

If the other two were to go on the market now, they would cost as much as the 2.0. Now, there is no way to really know how much more they would cost, but even having that category is just another means to shill for the XTB. Trust me, had you scored the 2.0 higher than XTB, you would have way more pissy comments lol. Either way, keep up the mediocre work sir.

Example: when you started comparing alt modes, you put a pic up of the G1 toon alt mode. XTB clearly was the farthest from the picture you put up, yet got the point. I myself and an admitted FansToys jerkoff. My views are entirely objective The bottom line is these bots are apples and oranges. How can an Apple win an orange contest or vice versa? You wouldn’t dare compare a Tesla to a Prius. As far as me watching your vids go, I think you are one of the better reviewers. I just think on this particular review, you made a conscious decision to pander a bit to the FansToys haters.
