The key difference between the two is the price. The cheapest non-Plus goes for ~€150 while the Plus starts at ~€260. €110 may be insignificant money for Westerners but it's extremely important in many other places. The non-Plus is a reasonable compromise overall but the Plus is a seriously better buy as it has a better & larger screen, better CPU, more speakers, much larger battery and is queued to also be upgraded to Android 13 while the non-Plus will stop at Android 12. Unfortunately, both tablets will only be supported with any updates (inc. security) until the spring of 2025 (28-Feb for non-Plus & 30-Apr for Plus). If you can add ~€100 over the Plus and buy a iPad, that's a way way better tablet. If you can afford the Plus, it's better to buy Samsung's Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) for €50 more just because the latter will very likely be supported with security updates for longer. The non-Plus has no competition and is THE best cheap tablet. Only Nokia T20 and Samsung A8 10.5 (2021) come close in features but they are both more expensive and AFAIK Samsung provides no commitment to a # of years of security-updates support for this cheapest of their models so the M10 non-Plus wins.
I appreciate your review however it would be very helpful if you could add closed captioning so I would be able to understand what you are saying better. I just ordered the non plus but I really don't like that it is only going to be upgraded till 2025. I may return it bc of that. Thank you.
Noticed a lot of owners think theres a software issue when either listening via wired or BT headphones to music or just streaming when a Green microphone symbol keeps bleeping and glides on screen ,right top corner. Its not your tab , dont FAC RESET ,, its so simple youll kick yourself.Its Google search engine and permissions , it is imo a glitch and i believe Lenovo could rectify with a patch aand at the same time a much anticipated Android update considerig support for the M10 and M10 plus is guaranteed till 2025, you literally turn microphone Permissions off to eliminate the annoying pip off the microphones sensitive pick up,dont forget manually it has to be turned back on ....FIX PLEASE @Lenovo?
Warning about this tablet : It will not be able (at the moment) to do hardware acceleration of H.265 content. The processor supports it so it should be fixable in software but Lenovo doesn't seem to be doing anything. So I now have very choppy video in my reolink app 😞
I want to warn potential Lenovo buyers. My experience is that Lenovo, in their great desire to deliver a good product (kek , kek), makes sure that their Lenovo trademark works on boot. After that they loose their desire to deliver anything much more than a eventually slow computer. My lenovo products work well but with each new update, my products begin to slow down and hang. When I reload my tablet to factory settings, it works well. That is until lenovo OS upgrades slow it down again. But the Lenovo trademark icon works perfectly well. It is apparent that Lenovo wants to remind you that this is a Lenovo product. I will not buy Lenovo or HP prodiucts because their updates eventually slow down the os. They do this to prompt you into buying a new product. Which I did, but not a Lenovo or HP.
