Sometimes it is not smooth when you scroll the screen but I haven't noticed any major lags. I use it for basic things like watching a video or reading PDFs. I don't play games so I can't say about performance when using more havy applications.

The USB-C port for charging the pen is located at the top, under a small rubber cap.
