I just clear one thing and its very huge effect to buy one. I try both in different hdmi of my tv same time and play it side by side. In the same video the firestick done superb job. Other hand the mi box picture is too much soft and hide many details which firestick clearly shows. And firestick upscaling is far mor superior than mi box. Firestick produced sharp and extraordinary clear videos. Mi box soften videos and hide many objects behind its softness. Firestick and mi box both fast enough to play anything. But major difference in picture quality and object depth in movies or tv shows. Firestick also perform far batter in terms of clarity in apps and many ott and third party apps.Its remote is also very good and not feel like cheap plastic in mi box remote. Its has all buttons and one click to power off, volume and mute on tv also. U can use only one remote to run tv and stick. But mi box remote use with tv remote every time side by side. Sometimes its headache to many peoples. Thanks guys

U should explore more on USB port in mi box 4k which comes very handy if u connect multi USB wire to it and connect keyboard, Bluetooth mouse and even gamecontroler

I have both the Firetv 4K and MI BOX. Overall I Think That Firestick 4K is Way Better then the MI BOX 4K. I Need Dolby Atmos and Really Like the Firestick Interface

@@StorylinesOfIvan its working perfectly for me on my mibox 4k. i use it everyday. and its a gigabit ethernet and three usb 3.0 ports on which i connect my usb pendrive and a mouse. Once you connect you have to put off the wireless and then it switches to wired ip.

@@kkkkn950 Bro i use both devices. Google assistant on Mi box misunderstood what i say most of the time and it's taking so much time to load things. I found Alexa performs better at launching apps and controlling content on Prime video, Netflix, RU-vid, JioCinema, etc.
@@kkkkn950 Of course worth it. You can play normal to medium graphic games with ease but heavy graphics game like Asphalt is not smooth. Still playable but you may not get best gaming experience. Remember these are just media streaming devices, so you will be disappointed if gaming is your priority.

Hi! Are the Prime Video apps different on the Mi Stick and the Mi Box? I own a Mi Box 4K, and its prime video app doesn't have profile switching and smooth scrolling (It's not listed on the play store as well - just preinstalled). Whereas, I had read somewhere that the Mi Stick has a different version of prime video with a newer interface.

While doing chromecast, say a you tube offline video saved in mobile, whether the tv will use the wifi to consume internet data or it's just 'mirroring' my mobile screen and since I have saved the video earlier, it won't eat up my data again?

@@geoffreyjoseph514 well, firstly in terms of resolution, I've a 55" panel and trust me, even 480p looks great. Also due to proper Google platform, I've been able to install 5-6 of games (not highgraphics like RR3, asphalt) and also several unofficial apps like Thoptv, Jiotv, etc. They work flawlessly along with pre-installed Netflix, Amazon video. The only Con is that u cant play graphic intensive game, but I believe neither that is the purpose for what we're buying it😅
Mi box and mi stick picture quality was pathetic..not good..its downscaling your videos , movies no one observed deeply like me..but take a deep look picture quality issues ..4k hdr 10 higher bit rate video won't play in this.. 4k passthrough problems..
Depends on what TV you have. If your TV supports 4K then go with the fire tv stick, but if it only supports 1080p then go with the mi stick as it only supports that reso. But if you want to go on a budget friendly, you can try the mi box too, not too pricey like the fire tv stick, and it supports 4K too.

Thanks for the great video. You forgot to mention that the MiBox 4K also have optic fibre out so you can connect it to a home theatre amp. You need an adaptor that plugs into the 3.5mm audio socket.
