In exams (i appeared in uk), we have to find the correct gmt from chronometer time, ships time and longitude.. in practice, can we straightaway take the utc date and time from gps reciever??
Yes sir. There is no need for chronometer time calculation in these modern times. The GPS is giving us the accurate GMT. Still, in exams, we have to calculate it to show that we know the basics. Regards ♥️

Yes sir, Anything above 270, be it 270*00*06* is still more than 270. Hence, it will be opposite. I intend to make PZX triangle videos shortly. Will give you a better understanding of why this is so, in the upcoming videos. Do give me a few months of time. I'm a bit busy with my studies and job. ❤️

Sir, if you know the gyro and magnetic course, and you take gyro bearing, the magnetic bearing will be the difference between gyro amd magnetic substituted with the gyro bearing. Eg: Heading of ship 234 (Gyro) 236 (Magn) Now, bearing of a body 010 (Gyro) Then the magnetic bearing will be 012 (Magn) Because, the gyro is 2 lower than the magnetic.
