1. Most if not all of those flood stories predate Genesis. 2. If all those people were wiped out in the flood, how could they have stories? 3. Most of those stories have major differences.

On Friday night I dreamt that I heard the last trumpet (like shofar but with bass) and that a huge being (who I assume to be Jesus) came back to earth. He was flying overhead and was probably 200 stories high. I think he was wearing a robe and a crown but it happened quickly in the dream. I have dreamed of the last trumpet before while flying up and then seeing an unfathomably glorious gold city/palace in the clouds. Repent and turn to the Lord before it is too late❤ Everyone is invited, but few will be chosen.
Am fascinated by the theory of a water particle canopy in the sky prior to the flood, ‘the waters above’ according to the creation story, that protected humanity from radiation and produced a climate/atmospheric pressure that allowed both extreme longevity in humans and gigantic size in animals, including large flying dinosaurs that would be incapable of flying in the world’s current atmosphere.
Certainly this water canopy enabled earth to very fruitful amid years of dinosaurs. Great flood ended all such environments and ability to sustain any creatures dependent of such that could’ve survived this worldwide calamity.
Look at what is called "The Boneyard" in Alaska. Untold numbers of mastodon tusks, bones of creatures that were not supposed to be anywhere near Alaska

When it comes to fitting all the animals on the ark, I think it’s pretty clear that the same God who fed 500 with only a few pieces of fish, to where there were bags full of leftovers, fitting animals on the ark isn’t a difficulty.

In Bakersfield Ca, my dad worked in the oil fields east of town, closer to the foothills and mountains, there’s this place called “shark tooth hill” that has hundreds of shark teeth in the dirt. He took me there as a kid. Closed off now you can’t get there, as people were finding out about the site. But goes to show that, that once was under water 🤯

We can extend this question further and ask why aren't more churches teaching about how the Bible is consistent with history and the archeological evidence supporting the Bible? And another step, why aren't churches teaching basic theology and offering critiques of Higher Criticism? One answer to my questions and Gary's question was stated by Robert Jeffress when he said in a contemptuous tone, "The problem with so many Sunday School teachers is that they get bogged down in 'content.'" What he meant by 'content' is substance as in history, theology, philosophy, archeology. Many otherwise sound pastors fear boring their members and prospective members with "content" as they only focus in on some basics of the Bible spoon fed to the congregants and evangelistic overtures to non-Christians all the while attempting to make the church service entertaining. In the process, young people do not know the answers to questions that they will hear in college and then conclude that Christianity is based in outdated thinking and mythology while scientific truths refute Genesis. They are incredibly taught in college that Christianity and science are incompatible, which is the furthest thing from the truth. Science was developed by Christians in the 16th-19th Centuries.
Many scientists viewed their profession as revealing the mysteries of creation. I agree though, I grew up in the church and most of every service was a message for lost sinners to accept Christ followed by John 3:16. I believe in evolution, but I was fascinated by Kent Hovind's Biblical young Earth creationist theories when I was a teenager. "Content" was all I had to look forward too at church because I had heard the basics so much before.
I was dismayed and off put by the idea that hope and faith in the subject somehow turned the concept into " truth." As we all know, if all it takes is hope and belief to make something true, we would all be problemless.

Rather, Christianity gives logic and evidence that grounds a rational belief in Christianity's conception of God. Belief in God has a number of sound arguments but it is also a basic belief as Alvin Plantinga observes. That is why there are no atheist societies. Once we know there is a God and his attributes as Anselm describes God, then it is rational to implicitly trust God's direction in our lives. That is where faith comes in. Faith does not come in earlier in this sequence.
It really is, however for anyone questioning reality outside of the bible, they’ll quickly come to realize what you observe in nature, and the world around you all perfectly lines up with biblical accounts. That’s where it’s good for some people to watch stuff like this. I like learning more about the world to see what God’s done

In the high mountain tops in West Virginia you see large wind swept rocks if u hike up there and poke around u can find fossils and sea shells caroading out jus at the foot of those rocks .also ive found them in Tennessee on mountain tops. Also in Alabama off the coast in 20 ft of water and 20 ft of muck archeologist have found numerous large dinosaurs where they were flooded out to sea and floated up side down bloated .thay said they need archeologist that could scuba dive to help in this field.

It definitely happened! I have thoroughly gone back-and-forth over the evidence (the evidence for all angles of this, including that it’s a total fallacy) and the more time that goes by the more I go back to the biblical flood story as literally true. The people who make fun of this, which are plentiful, just don’t look unbiased at all of the evidence.
I always thought that’s how the Grand Canyon must have been made. Never thought dinosaurs 🦕 were that old, also I believe the Bible mentions them Also there are underground lakes, even lakes under lakes and God made the water rise up from the ground as well

That was way later than dinosaur era. The great flood opened the Bosporus and filled the area which is now black sea. The bottom of Black Sea has evidence of the lost civilization and the Arc is found on the mount Ararat.
I heard of more evidence in the early 2000s I'm not sure what channel but I'm thinking it was a Discovery Channel. They showed on the highest mountain, parts where the snow never melts on the left side of the near the top, they dug through the snow & found Noah's Ark & they walk through it & showed us & they said it was preserved bc it was hidden way down in the snow. Also saw a show where it proved that the sea was split into during the time of Moses

Our human bones began to thin out from their super thick beginnings as our lifestyles became less physically demandning. In 1978 a team of Biblical geologists found and documented the Ark itself near the top of Mt Ararat in Turkey. They were chased down, intimidated some of them assassinated and their research destroyed and to this day the Turkish military will not allow anyone to get onto Mt Ararat.
In 1916 I think the Russian Empire army when it was pushing into the Ottoman Empire during World War 1 found the Ark on top of Mt Ararat. They sent soldiers up there to investiage and they actually found and excavated it. If the bolsheviks would not have couped the Tsar, this discovery would have come out into the world!

The funny thing is that fossils of fish on mountains are actually proof of tectonic movement. A flood could never have produced them. But to understand this, one needs some basic knowledge of geology, obviously lacking in both the interviewer and the interviewed.
There is a dvd produced called "Evolution's achilles heel" where 15 people with Phds in areas of geology, biology, physics etc explain how the theory of Evolution has many problems.

There is a lot of water in the earth´s interior but it is trapped in the micropores of the rocks and can move only on timescales far greater than a 40 days flood.. "Fountains of the deep" is a story line from a myth and creates nice effects in a disaster movie. There is nothing in the real earth to match it.

Could you please tell me how you arrived at 7,000? My dad and I discussed this many times, 8,000 is the age most scholars agree on. 2,000 year blocks of time from Adam to Noah, then Moses, next Jesus, and now. It could also be that Most high mountains have sea life fossils because continental plates colliding. They were once at sea levels before forming into mountains 🤷♂️. Also, if there are already hundreds to thousands of different species within 6,000 years that leads me to believe evolution is even more plausible. That’s a significant amount of change in such a short time. Theories on both sides. It’s very interesting.

We know today that the earth is not flat, is not covered by a dome, that the universe is far older than 6000 years, that no one lived 900 years and that a worldwide flood never happened. You are misunderstanding the meaning of those stories.
In 1982, my family went to Albuquerque, New Mexico, and we took the Tramway up to the Sandia Peak. While walking around and tossing rocks, I found a rock with a small fish fossil. I kept the rock for years.
I even think 7,000 is an over estimate. About a year or so ago I watched a video we’re the broke it down even further showing that they would have only needed about 4,500 animals on the ark.

It means that they passed it a long to their friends in the creation field. Last time I looked, Pew research indicated that Creationist "scientists" make up .01% of the worlds scientific community. I truly believe dinos died in the flood because God didn't want them eating everything on the earth including humans. Once the Fall happened, many things changed drastically
They literally found it on Mount Ararat years ago. A good portion is preserved in ice. Some washed down the side of the mountain. The parts in ice are remarkably well preserved and some of the architecture matches what is described in the Bible.
I believe God's word. Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of *eternal life* to all who trust Him alone for salvation. Jesus paid for all the sins of all the world at the cross (past, present, and future). That payment is put to your account when you have believed on Christ alone for salvation 🌹❤️🌹❤️. *This means that saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.*
