This was done so gratefully that I believe any person to watch will have a better understanding and appreciation what being a winner or loser means and a better view of EVO and what that means to others and when you play a fighting game you play to win and of course overall have fun.

I can attest to the fact that esports is truly a young man's game. My kids wipe the floor with me in most fighting games but its my knowledge of the games that started them down that path, they took the knowledge of how I play incorporated into their styles along with their faster hand eye coordination and faster firing synapses to levels i could never regain. But I still can pull a few miracle matches off of them that's when i put down the controller and walk away like your old man is still the champ and the source of your power :)

I'm only 22 and have been gaming my whole life. Competitive gaming was something very new to me, and even though I can't compete on a huge scale, there is something so special about seeing the games I loved as a kid evolve and transform into something huge I never would have imagined. I have a little brother and is only 10 years old and all he plays is fighting games. What a dream it would be to see him on the EVO stage one day, such an inspiring video.

I love it because it’s all mind games. It’s not who’s the more physical guy, it’s about who has faster reactions who can be the best with what they got. Knowledge of the game the frames, lots of homework to be done. You have your own play style and everyone has they’re and some times those are set, so someone might come across and beat your style, so that causes you to adapt and overcome creating a challenge your analysis of what you did wrong and changing your style finding out what mistakes they make more often and using that to your advantage. Looking at patterns.

Well done! Hard not to feel for Punk; that was a heartbreaker. That said, he just went out and won a really stacked Redbull Battlegrounds with not a whole lot of effort so he's probably a favorite to walk away Capcom Cup champ. 🤞🏾 Also it's kinda amazing how far the FGC has come. I was at a bar with a bunch of friends and told them I'm a nerd and had to duck out for the EVO top eight...but then the bar happened to have ESPN 2 on so I ended up staying longer than they did and watching it there. 😂

I loved this video, it didn’t focus on the winners of the tournament. It documented the up and coming being defeated and now he’s going to come back stronger. It also showed Sonicfox the best of the best lose at EVO showing he still is learning like everyone else. I also really liked the community being involved in this video getting to see the pool monster talk about sonicfox and everyone rooting for the underdog punk.

I'm so happy to see the FGC come so far, I've been fighting games all my life since the MK2 days. However I truly didnt really become involved with the community until 2009. Until then I never saw fighting games as more than just button mashers but watching the pro's play back then opened my eyes and I've been in love ever since. I've played at my fair share of tourneys never making it out of pools but always having a fantastic time but man do I respect the guys and gals who can do this for a living and make serious money from it. The amount of work that goes into this game being able to min/max inputs, strings, confirms, combos etc is pretty crazy. I truly love this community and I'm excited to see shine!!!

I loved this. Only let's me know what's it like to not only be at EVO, but understand what the players go through. All that pressure, the hard work they gotta put in against one another. It's almost kinda exciting if you ask me, to be fair this only makes me want to play more and go pro at them. I'm glad i watched this, taught me something new.
