Question for ya: with the rapid of development of AI tools, do you think fiction and nonfiction book markets will simply become over-saturated, and only established authors will have continued success? I.E. harder and harder for new authors with so much AI content?

One thing that might set your mind at ease: the fiction world is already saturated. When you're going up against thirty million other books, what's another ten to twenty million? You're still a grain of sand on a beach. The journey to becoming established will be the same, regardless of how many AI books flood the market: slowly building a readership through networking, promoting, and marketing.

Nope. Already saturated. You only need to worry about the top 1% that Amazon makes visible. The good ones.

1:00:40 You said you put your own company as the publisher. I'm interested on creating an LLC to publish my books. Do you have a video where you go deeper on this? If you don't, it would be nice to know how do you address this topic. Like why should one create your own company, and if you can, HOW. I think a lot of people would really appreciate it.

Interesting to know about ISBNs, I didn't realise you don't have to have one. Is this the same with regards to print books? I always thought you needed one, especially when it comes to barcodes. Also, would you recommend starting with an ebook or print book as a knew author? Would I be better off doing both? I''m also keen for your dive into Atticus. Cheers.

You do need one. But Amazon and all the other retailers will provide one for you. I should have made that clear.

@@TheNerdyNovelist I think you did, I just don't think I was paying attention. But just curious, as I always thought you needed an ISBN. It's good to know you don't actually need one. I purchased one a while ago which set me back at $AU100. Ingramspark kept saying it was already in use.

Have a coach look over your books. It could be anything from a cover or blurb problem to a bad marketing avenue to just a poorly written book. You’ll have to diagnose the problem first.
