Check this pinned comment later for loadout recommendations per-encounter. Imma sleep 😅 Also, scientists still trying to find who didn't dunk on the final knight in the Oryx encounter.
From what I’ve heard it’s Linear Fusions for Warpriest and Golgoroth, Gjallerhorn/Wardcliff/Legendary Rockets on Daughters and Oryx is Snipers and LFR. Div recommended for most bosses. Totems go crazy just be ready to add clear and bring something for the boomer knights
For totems, LMGs and blinding nade gls are very effective for both the majors n the trash ads. Bring inferno whip on solar and save your melee for the Unstoppables if they spawn while you deposit at mid.
Good guide, but you forgot one important thing for Golgoroth: There’s a Totem in the center of the room. During each damage phase, players must shoot down every damage bubble from the ceiling. If players leave bubbles undropped, the totem will add one lighted symbol for every undropped bubble. If six bubbles get ignored before killing golgoroth, he wipes the team
Had to have someone run a warlock with Well due to how much he was dying on totems. He did surprisingly well once he was able to survive for more than 10 seconds.
Pffff i had a guy tell me to kill his taken knight and wizard. Run faster when he had double primaries not killing any enemies while not getting any stacks. Then complaining why im not moving faster. While tellling to kill his adds
Facts thoooo, this man gives a quick lil speech and then showssss us how it’s done, takes his time when he talks so everything is clear and precise. By far the best guides on RU-vid 💯
I love how the Oryx fight was finished by the tick damage from someone popping a hammers super and throwing a single hammer lol... CLUTCH!!! nice guide and another day one in the bag
A success story: About 45 minutes ago, I got asked to plug in for an Oryx checkpoint. Literally told them I was using the bathroom then I'd be on. Instead I just fast-forwarded to the explanation for a quick refresher to make sure I wasn't the weak link. Cleared as a floater on the first try. It's nice having someone give clear instructions. #ThankYouFallout
Reviewed quite a few King’s Fall raid guides. This one should be the go to guide for all level of players. It is a concise and comprehensive guide. That combination is difficult to achieve. Great team effort whilst demonstrating the camaraderie and team spirit which is the essence that makes this game so great. Special mention for Fallout plays as in my opinion his performance is a master class in how to play the game.
Great work as ever! So much nostalgia for this raid. Did it day one first time around and it was such a rush. Work and kids mean I barely have time to play any more but it's great to see others get the chance to enjoy it.
Just did VoG right before watching this. Despite it being an utter waste of time (I got three shit found verdicts and three shit corrective measures), your guide and the people helping me made it simple. The same group wants help with King's Fall later, so the timing is incredible
I genuinely thought I was missing a mechanic yesterday when warpriest's health didnt move after 6 full taipans' worth of ammo. Now i have to farm ToM normally and have two raids with clear counts in the 100s
First time I think i've checked out a Raid guide specifically from you so I'm unsure if this editing style is standard for your guides or not. I just wanted to say I thought the editing was very good.
@Fallout Plays you probably already know, bit make sure you dance with the fallen in missions. For instance end of expedition, dance with them and they dance back.
Maybe one day I can get a capable team for day 1. It always boils down to people overprepping the night before and quitting a quarter to half of the way through because they're tired.
Nothing confusing about that fallout. Precise and simple. "On" your plate, "Left/Mid/Right" what you see. Move on. Great guide and refresher, though. Still remember my first Warpriest kill... had Lance and generated orbs, lol.
Best loadout for Totems: Bastion - two shots to take down knights and can deal with unstop ogre Scout - for red bars in rooms Machine gun with unrelenting and auto loading holster - is amazing for staying alive on totems and taking out majors
Yeah golgy should be easier but he bugs out some time were he lock his position usually looking away from pool and his back closes until some one gets into stomp range of him. Which is usually a wipe for us, also please for the of all things good in this world shoot the damn orb when they are counting down on glaze. I don't know how many times i was the only shooting orb at the 2-3 second mark.
Probably not important now, but I feel like the entire destiny community is sleeping in heir apparent for day 1 contest mode raids. Literally just stood on the annihilator totems invincible and shredding enemies the entire time. Was able to stack deathsinger's power to like x18 each rotation.
Yep. One of my teammates used it for a while at Golgoroth to grab gaze since he could sit there tanking the blast. Only problem is Golgy kept bugging out and it often took a full mag to actually grab gaze.
@@ADUSN yeah I got a killing tally roll from the raid. It hits for like 10k a shot at max stack. Not to mention the overflow trait makes it real comfy for right side totems.
For totems there another strat where 2 people stay in mid to kill wizys and knight for the two people rotating buff/gathering stacks. This allows for more specific loadouts for people gathering and people killing knights since the jobs are separated.
The problem with that strat is that it takes longer to deposit power in the center plate the more you have, and with just 2 rather than a full 3 rotating on each side, there's a tendency for one player to kill too much relative to the other, get too much power, and not have time to cycle before their partner dies from the brand.
@@torunsmok5890 For my team it wasnt much of a problem, since they cut the time from killing wizy/knights. Meh its a personal preference, so just an option. Either way recovering from a death in this encounter is just hard
Question, for anyone. I play Xbox and I’m at 1577 light. Since I started roughly a year and a half ago I’ve been maining Warlock and I’d prefer to stick to warlock. My question is, I don’t feel like a badass that can take on everything. I want to be a badass that can take on everything. Mainly for PvE, but for PvP too. So, how do I get there? How do I become the guy that runs grandmaster nightfalls and it’s easy.
My 2 cents (pve only), you need 2 things, knowledge and practice. By knowledge I mean understanding what builds can be made with your class, which mods are available, guns and also how to navigate the content (GMs as an example), for this you can simply watch youtube videos (build videos, and people running the content you want to run). By practice I mean start doing solo content that's at your skill level, witch queen campaign solo, solo lost sectors and eventually dungeons and when you do this and feel like you're struggling, watch other people videos of doing solo content with your class (Warlock) to see what you're missing and how to approach certain situations. Good luck.
Dang i hope the guy who was wondering why i wasnt able to do barely any damage and was prioritizing killing the knights at war priest sees this. Thanks for leaving after 2 trys btw
@@omensoffate because he's still mad about something that has nothing to do with 99.99999% of the human population but still wants everyone to know about it for some reason
@@omensoffate just to call out the people who dont have the patience to learn the encounter and complain about there team members doing the encounter right and dipping right after
Questions on the Totems explanation: what is the third person doing, the sequencing is hard to understand in this video but seems worth it simply because you’re not having to rush. Our team had two runners and one guy who stood on the plate the entire time. Just looking for some clarification on the roll of the third homie cuz I want to try this way out
The way we did it, and I imagine most people would, is constantly cycling three people for swaps. After that very first rotation, you'll have one person on plate, one person getting the brand stealer, and one person depositing their charges, and they're constantly rotating from there on out
great guide. Even I was frustrated when you were told "On, Left" was too confusing. Also a shoutout to all the absolute big brain geniuses that assume you aren't waiting for your timer to hit zero before re-upping a buff like bait and switch when you mention a cool down existing for said buff.
Is one of the most difficult ones, it requires a lot of good communication and precision on certain encounters. Have only done 1 raid before too, as sometimes its hard to find chill people to raid with and that have the patience to teach lol
From what I saw in the video and having done all the existing raids - this is going to be a bit tougher. Almost every other raid can have some "easy" roles, where a person or two can do pretty much add clear and nothing else until DPS phases. With King's Fall it appears you need to be ready to "do a different job", especially in the Sisters/Oryx encounters. From what I've seen, I'd say it's not mechanically difficult - but you do need to have good team communication and coordination. But once you've run through it a few times, it'll feel easier because you get better at callouts and coordination. There's no bit like in Vow's 3rd encounter where you can't learn the last room until you've gotten to it enough times. The phaes here are all fairly "rinse and repeat" instead of each phase being completely different from the previous.
For the daughters encounter are you dunking each time a runner grabs an orb? The guide made it sound like you drop down for orbs 1 and 2 and then dunk the 3rd
For daughters and Oryx there's a total of 3 runs you have to do per phase. The first 2 runs you simply get close to the orb to get it, drop down and then it picks someone else, the third runner has to interact with the orb and dunk it (for daughters) or remove the knight's shield (for Oryx).
